Description of how to implement in the class:
In my classroom I would implement the use of technology and graphs by using the website NCES. This
would simplify for the younger students who are not very familiar with using a computer. The
students would create their own graph based off of topics I give them. They would have to graph
things like how many boys there are compared to the number of girls, or what is the favorite food of
the classroom a hamburger, a hotdog, or other.

The lesson would be set up by asking the kids before they got on the computers the answers to the
previous questions. Once they collected all the data to the questions, I would have them graph their
findings. This would be student centered with assistance from the teacher with any technical
difficulties.

Level of Technology Implementation (LoTi): This would be a Loti level of 4, because it would be
student centered with moderate assistance from the teacher. The students are making charts based
off of data they have collected in the classroom.
Description of the sample spreadsheet and graph/chart provided *: Viewers will see student
examples of charts created by the collection of data in the classroom.
