Description of how to implement in the class:
Students will be creating their own web on the topic of conventions of standard
English when writing. They will break it down into capitalization, punctuation, and
spelling. On the BBPT the student will show where the three categories are needed in
writing. This allows them to think back to what they know and how to use it. This
activity helps them learn because it is student-centered and independent learning. It
also uses higher-order thinking while creating this project.
Level of Technology Implementation (LoTi): The Level of Technology
Implementation is Level 4: Integration. Students will design their own project and
share with their peers in the classroom.

Viewers will see the different components 3rd grade will be learning for the
conventions of standard English when writing. It will be broken down into spelling,
punctuation, and capitalization. This can be used in the classroom as a study tool or
an online anchor chart to use during writing.
