Operation Manual for Passenger Elevator

In order to keep elevator run comfortably and safely, please read this manual carefully
before putting into service. This manual introduces to you the right operation method.
The improper operation will cause accident. Keep this manual for reference.

4)Elevator Entrance and Car inside Governor

When elevator is overspeed, cut of power supply of system.

Start the emergency stop device of elevator.

or power cut. Do not try to escape from car.
It is dangerous to get out through car door or
emergency exit, because it may cause fallen
accident. You should press emergency call to

Release the shock of fallen elevator or counterweight.

For the correct using of elevator and the safety of passengers, the manager section should

Magnetic Brake
When traction machine stops, it keep elevator unmoved. Follow the rescuer's order when being rescued.
When happens abnormal situation, it also can stop elevator. When elevator operator exits, please follow his instruction .
Follow the tips on sticker when no elevator operator.
The key of elevator should be kept at operator, manager and maintenance personnel.

Interlock

Keep the hall door locked. When one hall door is open ,

When elevator operator gets sick or tired, please report the manager personnel .

DO not operate elevator in such situation.

Final Limit Switch

Do not operate elevator when drunk or smoking.
Enforce elevator to decelerate its speed.
No overload.
When happens accident or elevator runs abnormal, please stop elevator .
Report it to manager personnel and follow it instruction.

When operation is finished, park the elevator at setting floor, turn on stop switch,

Elevator parks at base floor Turn power switch to [POWER] .

POWER RUN AUTO DR ON AUTO Turn emergency stop switch to [AUTO].
UP PASS
Turn on park switch at hall indicator to enter into auto mode. Turn AUTO/HAND switch to [AUTO].
When park switch on [ON], light in car will also be on. Turn door power switch to [DR ON].

And elevator starts to enter into auto operation. OFF E-STOP HAND DR OFF ATT

According to demand of customers, elevator stops when door is in open or close status.

Press hall button at car stops floor, the door will open .
Press the other hall button ,elevator will go to that floor
and open door automatically.
During the door closing process, press the same direction hall
button as elevator running direction, door will open right now.
Elevator stops at one floor

Press destination floor button and its light will be on.

Open the key switch box.
Press POWER switch to [POWER], elevator enters into auto mode.
Take care of status of other switch.
.Emergency stop switch to [AUTO].
.AUTO/HAND switch to [AUTO].
.Door Power Switch to [AUTO].
Door will close automatically after 3~5 seconds. Press open
door button will prolong the open door time. Release the
button and the door will close right now. When door is
closed ,elevator will run.

Use car call to check whether elevator runs normally.

Press close door button and the door will close right now.

9)Running stop 1)Precautionary Measure&Using Tips

<Precautionary Measure>
.For safety running and prevent accident ,please do
Elevator Parks at Base Floor maintenance on a regular basis.
Turn off park switch at hall indicator to enter into stop mode. .Plan rescue measure for emergency accident.
(It is necessary for maintenance personnel and
elevator manufacture to inspect.)
Press park switch to [OFF], elevator will not enter into stop mode immediately.
Turn off park switch ,elevator responds to all registered floors with
the same running direction as elevator. Then park to specified floor.

Reaches destination floor ,open the door ,cancel all registered floor. After 20
seconds, buzzer rings 3 times ,close the door, turn off all the light and
position indicator.
<Using Tips When Happens Accident>
Elevator does not respond to any call in this situation. When elevator happens fire ,power cut and other accident,
Accoring to demand of customer ,the elevator could stop with door open. open hall or car door to get passenger out of cage. But
be care in case fo fallen accident.
Others should not keep hall door key, except for manager
Elevator parks at one floor personnel.
Before using key to open hall door, please check
Open the key switch box.
elevator's location and status.
Press POWER switch to [OFF], elevator enters into stop mode.
(According to different mode, it may set power switch to [POWER] to stop mode.)

Press POWER switch to [OFF], elevator will not enter into stop mode immediately.
Set power switch to [OFF] when elevator stops at one floor ,door will Open ,
light will be off and enter into stop mode.
Set power switch to [OFF] during running ,elevator stops at bottom floor , <Using Tips When Happens Accident>
.Emergency exit on car top only can be used by elevator

2)Emergency Rescue Tips
Elevator stops because of power cut
When receive elevator accident from passenger, make right judgement, give proper instruction
1.If power supply will recover in a short time ,please tell passengers
to passenger ,take correct measure. Or manager personnel take emergency measure in person.

2.After power recovers ,tell passengers to press destination floor button

to start running again.

3.If power can not recover in a short period, rescue passengers by using

Adjustment of elevator location by manual type

The distance between sill and car location is within 150~600mm.
Cut off main power.(or it may cause accident)
Before using key hall door to open hall door, please confirm the elevator is at this floor. Take off the cover of brake.
Get passengers out of cage. Mount handwheel and brake lever.
(The young, old, sick, disable ,pregnant need help of outside at this time.) Press brake lever and rotate handwheel.

The distance between sill and car location is above 150~600mm. Brake lever

Using brake lever to place elevator to door zone and then rescue passengers.

(Turn off main power. Using interphone to confirm car door is not opened and
no one is crossing car door )

Press brake lever repeatedly to let elevator go slowly. Pressing brake lever
for a long time will cause elevator run fast which may lead accident. So be careful.
( Adjust elevator location through the mark on main rope)

The above job need 2 personnel to cooperate with each other to finish.
Notes: It will be different according to variable mode.

5)Troubleshooting Tips
Machine-Roomless Elevator For solving trouble and reducing stop time caused by fault, please know the situation when
(1)Brake release lever in C/P happens trouble. Contact HYUNDAI service center when you can not solve the trouble.
For machine-roomless elevator, using foot or hand brake release lever to release
