The MS422 is a diaphragm-type sensor that functions 316 SST Titanium
similarly to the bellows-type. The major difference is in the 304 SST Silver
use of a thin, flexible diaphragm as the separating member 347 SST Gold
between the process media and the DP instrument. The Carpenter #20 SST Platinum

Inventory Management Systems

CryoScan / DataScan Telemetry Systems

The CryoScan 51 (CS51/DS51) Telemetry System combines up-to-the-minute
accuracy in product level and pressure measurement with a communications
system that optimizes inventory management and product delivery cycles. The
remote telemetry unit (RTU) calculates the level of product inside a tank using
pressure measurements from its integral sensor and/or 4-20 mA inputs, and
stores the information in data logs. The logged data is transmitted regularly
to a computer for on-screen viewing or printing for quick and easy analysis.
Built-in alarms alert the operator when a parameter drops to a user-specified
setpoint. An operator can also run a status report on demand for
instantaneous data monitoring.
The CryoScan / DataScans continuous monitoring and alarm system helps
eliminate the risk of running out of product. It also minimizes the need for
"extra" product deliveries to ensure that tank levels do not become critically low.
For companies that manage multiple mediums and/or multiple storage sites, and
applications the CryoScan / DataScan is a highly practical and
cost-efficient solution.

Scanner 2000
Steam Flow Computer / PID Controller / Multi-variable Transmitter

The Scanner 2000 is a versatile, multi-purpose field-

mounted device. Using ModWorX PC software, included
with each Scanner 2000 unit, the user typically
communicates through a USB port to field-configure the
unit to perform combinations of the following functions.
Specific combination maybe limited by the physical
options ordered.

Steam Measurement
Mass, energy and volume of saturated steam. Velocity
and saturation pressure and temperature are based on
computations from the integral DP & P multi-variable
transducer. The fluid properties of steam are imbedded
in all units. For superheated steam see Camerons Flo-III
flow computer.
Other computations
Gasses, hydrocarbon liquids and gross fluid accumulation.
In steam heat applications this feature can allow the
simultaneous measurement of both steam and the
condensate return.

Datalogging
The Scanner 2000 may be externally powered or all
features can operate continuously from an internal
battery that lasts one year. The datalogger can be
directed to log any measured or computed value on
a user defined interval.

Multi-variable Transmitter PID Control

All inputs whether they be from the DP and pressure The optional PID control block can be activated to control

DP Cone Meters

NUFLO DP Cone Meter

Launched in 2006, this product provides an accurate,
repeatable and cost optimized measurement solution
for a wide range of industrial applications. The inherent
design of the DP Cone Meter dramatically reduces the
required installation "real estate" and therefore offers a
compact, rugged and low cost alternative to traditional
measurement technologies.

Turbine Meters

NUFLO Gas and Liquid Turbine Meters

First developed in 1957, NUFLO turbine meters are rugged and field-
proven and have developed technically alongside the requirements of
the international oil & gas and process control industries.
Today, NUFLO turbine meters continue to withstand severe
environmental punishment while
maintaining operational and measurement integrity.

BARTON Gas and Liquid Turbine Meters

For more than 30 years BARTON has been at the
forefront of turbine meter commercialization
and continues to be a respected and innovative
supplier of meters for fiscal measurement
applications. Common to all BARTON turbine
meters is symmetrical design for balanced flow
forces; bi-directional flow measurement capability;
high repeatability; large bearing surfaces for long
maintenance cycles; long blades and small hubs for
low pressure drops; high integrity bodies with no
dynamic seals; convenient magnetic pick-ups that do
not require external power.
