Political
Political has been evolved stable democracy, since after the fall of communism in
country. After this various governments have taken initiative in privatizing institution
because of facing budget deficit to fund. Several industries like financial institution,
sector such as petroleum, power, chemical etc are privatized. In the 1980s, Poland
underwent a transition from a centralized, authoritarian political system to a
democratic, free market system based on the principles of freedom and liberty for
its citizens

Poland ranked 30th in corruption perception index in 2015, this what country has
been facing for a long time and it is main barrier for FDI.

Poland is strong military supporter in Europe and great relation Italy and Lithuania.

Economic
Poland (Polish Economy) is dominated by service sector, which contributes
approximately 65% to the total GDP as per the data of 2015. The major contributors
of service sector are trade repairs of motor vehicle, professional, and technical
services. Poland is the only EU economy showed positive growth in the period of
recession because of strong polices and institution. Poland has supportive
government policy to strengthen the industrial activities.

In Poland, agriculture employs 11% of the population, contributes about 3.4% of


GDP and manufacturing contributes nearly 33% of GDP. In 2017 the economy
expected to grow 3.1%.The current account deficit decreased to 0.1% in 2015 but
further expected to increase and unemployment will decrease to 6.5% in 2017.

Poland is a highly developed country top rank by UN in terms of Human


Development Index, which takes into account factor such as life expectancy, the
years of schooling average for 25 years old and expected number of years of
schooling of school-age children, as well as GNI per capita adjusted for purchasing
power parity..

The health care system in Poland lags behind other European countries, as in 2012-
13 government has taken initiative measures to include health care investment. The
government has taken care of social inclusion of immigrant. Poland population is
aging faster, as per the report of 2012 number of EU countries have put in variety in
policies to encourage them to more children. The 15-to-59 age segment is expected
to decline by 2.7 million by 2025.

In Human Development report 2014 Poland was ranked among 188 countries. In
Poland young people are well educated and literate, as over the period country has
balanced quality and quantity level education than the most Western European and
North America.

Technology

Technologically advanced industries in Poland, including advanced manufacturing


and pharmaceuticals, make up about 2 percent of Polands economy, compared
with 5 percent in Germany and 4 percent in the Czech Republic. While the adoption
of foreign technology has helped Poland grow, the countrys future as an advanced
economy depends also on the development of technology at home. Yet even given
its size, Polands advanced industries can have powerful indirect effects on overall
economic growth, since they indirectly contribute to positive developments in other
industries.
