Seamless ASEAN Sky: The Vision
Conception
At the 1st ATTC meeting in 2010, the concept of a seamless ASEAN sky was
introduced by Thailand as a seamless, interoperable and harmonized air
navigation system ensuring the success of the ASEAN Single Aviation Market
(ASAM) and the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC)

Endorsement
The 31st ASEAN Air Transport Working Group and the 39th Senior Transport
Officials Meeting (STOM) in May 2015 agreed on the following vision of Air
Transport in 2025:

Strengthen the ASEAN Single Aviation Market for a more competitive and resilient
ASEAN, through the following key measures:
Advancing safer and more secure skies in ASEAN;

Enhancing air traffic management efficiency and

capacity through a Seamless ASEAN Sky;
Fostering greater connectivity including the conclusion of aviation agreements
with Dialogue Partners.
