She continues to work with local preschools helping identify at risk infant and toddlers who may
be at risk and/or benefit from early intervention services.

In addition, Alicia continues to work in the hospitals evaluating patients with new stroke
protocols, Dysphagia, Aphasia and other neurological disorders.

teachers, Resource Specialists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, doctors and
families on specific individual interventions, treatments and developing goals to aid in
educational success and functional life skills. .
PHILOSOPHY: My vision and philosophy for Speech Time Therapy is to provide quality,
individualized therapy to individuals with speech, language, learning and cognitive impairments
in a naturalistic environment. Not only working with each individual, developing a customized
treatment plan and home program implementation, but also collaborating with other
professionals and working with families and caregivers to allow for instruction, education,
coaching and parent training to maximize carryover of therapeutic skills learned through
communication.

My unique home therapy office is located in Penngrove and nestled among dozens of Redwood
trees on a 2 Acre family property allowing for therapeutic intervention in a naturalistic
environment. Exploring, learning, teaching and playing in context allows for speech and
language to be targeted in context, in the environment and in a personal, comfortable home
setting.

Communication increases ones abilities to relate to people, get their needs met, improve quality
of life and become more successful with functional life skills.
