Running* for Cards

*not actually running.

Running for cards is a group review game where groups work together to solve a problem on a
card. All team members are required to solve the problem on their answer sheet. Your
responsibility to your team is to help those in your team who might be struggling, and to ask for
help if youre struggling. Once all team members have the problem worked out on their sheet
and their answers indicated, everyone in the group raises their paper in the air (and does not
shout or shake their paper wildly). I will then come by and check your answer. If it is correct,
the person whos paper I checked is to get up, return the first card to the table, and grab the
next card. The game proceeds like this until a team has successfully answered each card. So, the
steps are as follows:

1. One student runs to get the 1st card and brings it back to the group.

2. ALL students work on the problem and must show their work.

3. Each group member must hold up their paper once everyone has an
answer.

4. The persons paper that the teacher grabs to check the answer will be the
next runner, and will return the first card to the table while retrieving
the second card.

5. And so on. The first group finished with all cards will be the winner.
