Edif ERA has a phased approach to ageing plant assets in order to optimise the
complete process.

Our projects can cover all phases or just provide specialist help at the stage you
most need it.
Asset experience includes:
Combined cycle plants Pipework

Conventional boilers Fired heaters

Heat exchangers Offshore structures

Columns and reactors Storage tanks.

identify plant assets to be assessed on a risk basis.

Phase 1 Review of plant and operation

Review design and inspection, maintenance and operational
history of the plant/unit/component and identify critical items
using a risk-based approach
For each component identified, a code-based calculation of
life consumption is performed and the operational history
is reviewed
If no significant factors are identified, the component can be
left in service under a monitoring programme, otherwise an
inspection scheme is defined.
