You will be challenged to think critically about mathematical concepts related to the topics listed above, which will prepare you for continued success in math courses at UHS and beyond. Homework will be worth 15% of your grade and is scored based on completeness and neatness Participation in in-class individual and group activities will make up 5% of your grade. Tests and quizzes will make up 60% of your grade. The comprehensive final exam will make up the remaining 20%. Grades will follow the traditional scale of 90-100% A, 80-89% B, 70-79% C, 60-69% D, < 60% F. For every piece of work you turn in, you must SHOW ALL WORK unless otherwise specified. This requirement is meant to help the teacher identify your thought process and understanding of the material, but will also help to prepare you for college courses.
