What are your charity's aims?

Charity objects
The objects are defined in the memorandum of association as follows:
To advance education and learning in general and, in particular, in the
fields of comparative religion, philosophy, science and art.
To relieve human suffering and promote mental and moral improvement in
the human race.
To promote the advancement of religion on a non-sectarian basis.

Who benefits from your charity's work?

Beneficiaries are those looking for different levels of spiritual education


which is non-political, non-sectarian and sponsors no special creed or
dogma.

How do you respond to their needs and how do they influence the charity's development?

Through the Arcane School which provides meditation and study.


Through it's distribution and printing of spiritual philosophy. (Lucis Press)
Through it's outreach programmes Triangles and World Goodwill.
By their support and participation in our activities.
Question 3 - The charity's strategy
What are the key elements of your charity's medium to long term strategy?

The Trust with its principal activities The Arcane School and Lucis Press
continues to keep the books of Alice Bailey in circulation and the
correspondence school operating efficiently and available to those who
work to meet the criteria. It is not our policy to constantly initiate new
projects although new material is constantly offered within the existing
framework of its service work.
The work of spiritual education with students as well as to the wider public
will continue. The Trust encourages the access of information via the
website and has communicated with key co-workers and staff this year to
examine the strengths and weaknesses of its existing website in order to
develop a website which is responsive to the needs of students and coworkers.
Arcane School online (ASMIS) is being developed which will allow
students to work through email.
How does your charity measure the success of the strategy?

By the participation, attendance and feedback of co-workers.

What were your charity's main annual objectives and were they achieved?

At it's most healthy due to a recent and unexpected large legacy.

How will the overall performance last year affect your charity's medium to long term strategy?

The performance last year continues in much the same way as it has over
its's long history. We continue to up-date our means of communication
with co-workers and new people to our work through the new means of
electronic communication.
What are your charity's main objectives for next year?

To develop a new web-site.


To increase live streaming and video production.
To re-format the Alice Bailey books for printing.
To progress the Arcane School on-line

How does your charity ensure that its governance arrangements are appropriate and effective?

By taking advice from the Charity Auditors as to governance and


protocols.
Ensuring a climate of integrity for the continuing attainment of the charity's
objectives through relevant and regular communication between trustees.
