Its later on at Kirks birthday party from the end of STAR TREK BEYOND.
Everyone seems cheerful. Most of the bridge crew (and Jaylah) have gathered up
on the big white sofa. Kirk is stood by the window, watching the construction of
a starship. Everyone has a glass of Aldebaran whiskey, except for Uhura - she
has a tall glass of water.
SULU: So, Scotty. What class of ship are you hoping for?

In Scottys imagination; we see Scotty in the corridor of a new ship. Hes
as dirty as a hog in mud. Theres loose wiring everywhere. Walls, floors and
ceilings have big holes in them where panels have been removed and propped
up or thrown on the ground nearby. Very messy.
SCOTTY (CAPTION): Whatever ship we get - I hope it's a project. I want exposed
wiring. Busted circuits! I want to leave my mark on whatever ship we get.

Back in reality, McCoy gives Scotty a stern look. Scotty shrugs and finishes
his lime green drink.
MCCOY: Sounds dangerous.
SCOTTY: Aye, it could be safer. But then what would I get to do?

Uhura gestures to the construction area.

UHURA: Why don't you just go help them build it now? Then you wont have to
pull it apart after theyve put it together.

Scotty raises a finger and looks excited like he hadnt considered that
possibility.

Chekov takes a swig of his drink. In the background, we can see Scotty has
dashed off. Keenser (and Kevin) are running off after him.
CHEKOV: I wonder if we'll get the USS. Yelchin. Its a beautiful ship. Built in
Russia.

In his imagination, we see Chekov is sat in the big command chair on the
USS. Yelchin. Hes wearing a captains uniform and sunglasses. The
entire crew seems to be made up of attractive women.

CHEKOV (CAPTION): ...and maybe I could even be Captain Chekov.

Back to reality. We see a look of total absentminded bliss on Chekovs
face. McCoy turns to face Spock with a wry smile on his face.
MCCOY: Okay, so hes dreaming. What about you, Spock? What does your ideal
ship look like?

Spock lowers his drink and raises an eyebrow. McCoy looks a little angry.

SPOCK: I would say that presenting a hypothesis with so little to evidence would
be foolishMCCOY: Oh, here we go
SPOCK: -however In this case I have given it some thought.

In Spocks imagination; we see a ship that looks a lot like the Enterprise
floats near a purple nebula. Glowing manta ray-like creatures swim around the
ship in open space.
SPOCK (CAPTION): As long as our new assignment is a place of hope and
optimism.

2/
KIRK shaking hands with a Teenaxi in a futuristic meeting room. The alien
is stood on top of a series of stacked up crates (branded with the Starfleet
insignia) in order to make up for the size difference.
SPOCK (CAPTION): Friendship. Discovery.
SPOCK (CAPTION): As long as we continue to boldly go

This panel should be really artsy. Go wild! Surreal! 60s style Sci-Fi! Its Kirk,
Spock and Bones exploring an alien planet together.
SPOCK (CAPTION): To explore in the name of Starfleet.
SPOCK (CAPTION): I will be content.

Back in reality, McCoy looks a little shocked. Kirk has come to join his
friends at the couch. He looks a lot happier and has raised his glass to perform a
toast.
KIRK: To Boldly Go.

5/
Everybody else - including Scotty and Keenser, who are back - raise their
glass. All smiles.
