GE T&D India Limited announces Third Quarter 2016/17 results

New Delhi, India Jan 30, 2017 GE T&D India Limited, formerly ALSTOM T&D India Limited, reported
on January 30, 2017 its financial results for the third quarter ended December 2016, following approval
by the Companys Board of Directors.
The Company continues to maintain a healthy backlog of 81.5 BINR by winning 11.2 BINR orders during
the quarter, which increased by 37% as compared to the third quarter 2015/16. Sales revenue was
12.1 BINR, up 62% versus the same period last year and Profit After Tax was 0.4 BINR.
The Company won number of major orders during the quarter from central, state utilities and private
developers. Important ones include 765/400kV AIS substation at Chilakaluripeta from PowerGrid,
400/220/33 kV GIS extension of Gumma substation from HPPTCL, 400/220/132 kV AIS substations at
Latehar and Lohardaga from PowerGrid. The Company also won solar projects namely BhadlaJodhpur substation 220kV from Saurya Urja and Bhadla 2X70 MW ACBoS from Solaire Direct.
The Company also achieved major commissioning that include 220/11kV AIS at Chanda for ACC,
125MVA, 400/132kV Inter connecting Transformers for Gas based combined cycle power plant at
Palatana, Tripura, 400/220kV GIS for MSETCL at Hinjewadi, amongst others.
