Comin AND PARTY-LIST : at eee REPRESENTATIVES ON THE CANVASS/CONSOLIDATION OF VOTES FOR THE ELECTION OF Promulgated: __May % 2016 SENATORS AND PARTY-LIST REPRESENTATIVES IN THE 09 MAY 2016 NATIONAL AND LOCAL ELECTIONS) x eee RESOLUTION NO. 10126 vA ‘The Commission on Elections (“Commission”), pursuant to the powers vested in it by the Constitution of the Republic of the Philippines, the Omnibus Election Code, Republic Act No. 9369 and other election laws, RESOLVED to promulgate the following rules on the canvass of votes and proclamation of results for the election of senators and party-list representatives in the 09 May 2016 national and local elections. SECTION 1. Section 2 of Resolution No. 10111, otherwise known as the Rules of the Commission on Elections Sitting En Banc as the National Board of Camvassers for Senators and Party-List Representatives on the Canoass/Consolidation of Votes for the Election of Senators and Party-List Representatives in the 09 May 2016 National and Local Elections, is amended to read as follows: SEC. 2. PRESIDING OFFICER. The Chairman of the Commission shall preside over the meetings of the NBOC. Whenever he is on leave, seriously ill, temporarily disabled, absent, or in case he inhibits himself the Commissioners present shail elect among themselves who shall preside in acting capacity. SEC. 2, Section 8 is amended to read as follows: aPage 2 of 3 Sec. 8. WorKING GROUPS; DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS. Working groups are hereby created to provide administrative and operational support to BOC in the conduct of the canvass, each to be headed by a department director or assistant director or head of an office of the Commission: 20K 2K 20K b) Secretariat XXX XK XXX 8) Actas custodian of the USB tokens, usernames and passwords of the NBOC, ensuring that after every use, said USB_tokens, usernames and passwords are returned and kept in a box with plastic seals, which box shall be kept in full view of the public at all times. 9) Attend all proceedings of the NBOC. SEC. 3. Section 15 is amended to read as follows: SEC. 15, GENERATION AND PRINTING OF COC FOR ALL POSITIONS. PUBLICATION AND DISSEMINATION, The Education and Information Department shall cause the publication of this Resolution and shall immediately furnish copies thereof to all candidates for Senators, all registered political parties, organizations or coalitions with official candidates for said office, accredited parties in the party-list system and the accredited citizens’ arms of the ‘Commission.
