Reflections of The Life of Sis. Tamara Howell

On Thursday, January 19, 2017, Tamara Howell departed this life at Jersey
City Medical Center.
Tamara aka Tammy, was born in Manhattan at the Womans Hospital on
December 4, 1968 to Mary Howell and the late Eddie L. Howell. She was
the youngest of three children. Tamara grew up with her siblings in the
Butler-Webster Housing in the Bronx, New York.
She was educated in the Bronx at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Jane Addams
High School and Monroe College. She went on to spend 10+ years in the
fashion industry at Komar.
Tamara joined the Goodwill Baptist Church in the early 1990s and was
baptized shortly after. At Goodwill, she participated in the following ministries:
Sunday School Teacher, Vacation Bible School Co-Coordinator, Hospitality
Ministry, Missionary Ministry, Women Ministry, United Voices,
and Virginia Fellowship Ministry. She was also a Matron over the Young
People Choir where she guided, cared and loved them. They were her babies.
Tamara had a joyful spirit that was overflowing with love, caring, humility, and
compassion. Her beautiful smile illuminated the light of Jesus Christ. She had
a heart for Gods people and shared the Love of God wherever she went.
Tamaras memories will forever be cherished by: her Mother, Mary Howell of

I Am Free
Dont grieve for me, for now Im free,
Im following the path God laid for me;
I took His hand when I heard Him call,
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day
To laugh, to love, to work, or play;
Tasks left undone must stay that way,
I found that place at the close of day.
If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembering joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss;
Oh, yes, these things I too will miss.
Be not burdened with time of sorrow;
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My lifes been full, Ive savored much,
Good friends, good times, a loved ones
touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,
Dont lengthen it now with undo grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me,
God wanted me now He set me free.
Lovingly Submitted,
The Family

MY PURPOSE
My purpose in life is not to serve
myself, but to serve God and his
Children.
I thank each, and every one of
you for your kind words on this
day, and I pray that in some way
I have touched your life in a
positive way.
I hope you felt encouraged, when
you needed encouragement.
I hope you felt Love, when you
needed to be Loved.
I hope you felt comforted, when
you needed to be comforted.
I Love you all, and I thank God for
sparing your life today so we
could Rejoice together.
