y MINISTRY OF FOOD PROCESSING INDUSTRIES GOVERNMENT OF INDIA “Golden Opportunity in Agri Processing infrastructure un Ministry Of Food Processing Industries invites proposals / Eols, in the prescribed format, from potential promoters for setting up 6 Mega Food Parks in the country. The willing investors may submit their proposal with relevant details as per the checklist given in Annexure-B to the Mega Food Park Scheme guidelines dated 21.07.2016. The proposal should meet the requirement of the scheme guidelines. The detailed guidelines of the scheme may be seen at www.mofpi.nic.in In selection of the project priority may be given to uncovered States. A wait list of the eligible proposals may also be prepared to be considered against vacancies / up-scaling of the scheme, if any, in future. The proposals/ Eols, addressed to Sh. Atul Saxena, Director, Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Panchsheel Bhawan, August Kranti Marg, New Delhi-110049 should reach on or before 4:00 PM on 15.09.2016. The proposals/Eols should be accompanied by an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rupees Ten Lakhs only (Rs. 10,00,000/-) drawn in favour of Pay and Accounts Officer, Ministry of Food Processing Industries, payable at New Delhi. After selection of the suitable applicants, the amount of EMD will be refunded to the unsuccessful bidders. The EMD of the successful bidders shall be retained by the Ministry as Performance Security till the completion of the project. The amount of EMD retained as performance security shall be forfeited in the event of non-completion of the project or withdrawing from the project after according “In-Principle" approval.
