Agony
There is a new girl at school. She makes all the students, and even some of the
teachers, go crazy. Her name makes everyones ears ring. She makes the students
nauseous and weak in the knees. Her stare pierces into the principal and makes him
freeze in his tracks. Her presence tortures those around her. She is agony.
She has the paralyzing feeling of stiff hospital sheets. Her body wreaks like the
decomposing dead in a cemetery. She lives in the basement of an emergency hospital
and thrives on the tears and bloodcurdling screams of her victims. She makes you live
like a heartbroken child who has lost their mother. Her voice is like the sound of nails on
a chalkboard. She knows is crucial to human life, therefore she tries to immobilizes all
who get in her path. She is agony.
Her destructive attitude hides behind a fake smile but it never leaves. She is the
helplessly numb feeling after your first heartbreak. She haunts those who have met her,
and meeting her is like getting stuck on a sinking ship. With every corner you turn, she
is always there. She is constantly sneering at those she sees. She makes children
scream as she walks down the street. She is agony.
She is the reason for many hospitalizations. She is a 10 on the pain chart. Her
presence infects you like a disease. Her sole existence vaporizes you from the inside
out. She delivers a new knot in your stomach and hard lump in your throat. She makes

your eyes well up with tears and your body go numb. She stuns your brain and makes
you feel dead inside. Her existence takes away all traces of happiness in the blink of an
eye. She is agony.
Her voice constantly repeats in your head like a broken record. She is the
lingering feeling after a harsh storm. She is the reason you count sheep at night. She is
the only problem in your life but you cannot get rid of her. She will never leave you. She
is agony.
