Chile continues to be one of the large global destinations attracting
investors for the development of mining projects, specially copper,
molybdenum, gold and silver.
There are more than 50 initiatives that are expected to be
materialized between 2015 and 2025 for over US$ 100 billion,
which would increase copper production to more than 8 Mton by
2025, while the offer of gold, molybdenum and iron would duplicate
during this period (1).

Chile sigue siendo uno de los grandes polos mundiales
de atraccin de inversiones para el desarrollo de
proyectos mineros, principalmente de cobre,
molibdeno, oro y plata.
Se proyectan ms de 50 iniciativas a materializarse
entre 2015 y 2025 por ms de US$ 100 mil millones,
que aumentaran la produccin de cobre a ms de 8
Mton hacia 2025, mientras la oferta de oro, molibdeno y
hierro se duplicara en este perodo1.

This in addition to the significant operating expenses and costs of

Large Chilean Mining Companies, of around US$26 billion per year
(2), highlight important business opportunities on topics such as:
Energy and water supply (mainly desalination plants)
Capital goods and inputs for concentration plants (as of 2025,
80% of copper production is expected to use this system)
Engineering services
Consulting on improving productivity
Community relations
Waste management and metals recovery, etc.
Since 1990, and throughout its thirteen previous versions,
EXPOMIN has generated business of more than US$ 11 billion and
received more than 600 thousand professional visitors, reaffirming
its strategic value as a unique commercial platform for the
exchange of knowledge at the regional and global level.

Lo anterior sumado a los importantes gastos o costos

operacionales de la Gran Minera Chilena, en torno a los
US$26 mil millones anuales2, permiten vislumbrar

Desde 1990 y a lo largo de sus trece versiones previas,
