1. Study the grade report and make a list of observations, thoughts, and/or
questions, including mathematical ones.
2. Comment on the grading practices that could have an impact on the
student’s grade.
3. At what level does his actual achievement seem to be? What grade should
the student have for the semester? Explain how you decided that.
4. Hindsight may not always be 20/20, but if you were working with “this
student,” knowing what you do now about the student’s performance, what
are some actions you might consider taking during the semester?
