After summer vacation, when the days are not so warm anymore,
school begins.
Going back to school is not only grabbing your school bag and
resuming your school activities like the previous year. Many changes
happen from one year to another. You have to be prepared to develop
a new school routine, share your experiences, manage difficult
situations, and face the unknown. If you prepare yourself in advance,
it is going to be easier to get involved in all kinds of activities. It is time
to meet old friends and make new ones.
Sometimes, curiosity doesnt prevent our questioning: whats your
name? where are you from? do you like...? where do you...?,
do you have...? etc. Thats why you dont need to be
worried. It is just one more time to discover and explore
new experiences.

Sophia: Frank you are doing a great job with your paintings. The
students, the other teachers, your friends, and the staff are really
amazed with your work. I hope you keep improving your abilities.
Frank: Thanks Ms. Moore. I always do my best because people think
that my disability makes me a weak person. They are wrong. My
disability helps me to be stronger, so I can overcome difficulties and
improve my abilities, and be self-confident.
Sophia: You are fantastic. I can mention some famous names...
These celebrities are also known for overcoming their difficulties
and disabilities, and they have contributed to society. Francisco de
Goaya, for example, was deaf. Stephen Hawking, a well-known
mathematician, wrote A Short story of the Universe.
Frank: You are great Ms. Moore. I usually read about famous
impaired celebrities and I wonder if I will be a famous one, one day.
Sophia: Im sure you will.

3Rs???!!!!
I always read
about environmental issues. I
understand what it means and how
important it is to take better care of
the world in which we live.
Yes, 3Rs. Reduce,
Reuse and Recycle.
Reducing is cutting
back on the amount
of trash we make, reusing is
finding a new way to use trash
so that we dont have to throw
it out, and recycling is using
trash to remake new goods
that can be sold again.
If everyone helps
and everyone is conscious about
how important it is to practice the
3Rs, we will be doing just more
than a little.
