M18: Field Training
Teaching Scheme:

Examination Scheme:
Term Work: 50 Marks

Description:
Student will undergo field training in between Semester II and Semester III. Students will study
day to day operations in the office of structural consultant/designer or research
centre/institute/laboratory related to structural engineering for at least 2 weeks (15 days).
Students will study the ongoing live project and prepare the study report based on their
observations. Students should produce certificate from head of office or institute at the end of
field training. Three (3) faculty members will evaluate field training work based on students
presentation for term work.
