Science

Social Studies

We are still learning about Plants. This

week the children will look at the stages
of plants growth (how plants develop
from seeds to flowers). They will also talk
about how and why plants are important
for humans.

This week children will learn how to read

Weather forecast. They will be
encouraged to use different symbols to
show different types of weather (e.g. sun
for sunny, cloud for cloudy etc.). We will
also learn what it means when we say
partly cloudy/sunny.
There will be Social Studies homework
sent out on Monday. Children will have to
complete page 23 in the book that will be
sent home. They need to observe the
weather over the week and record it by
using different symbols. This homework
needs to be completed by next Sunday.
