LAW STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP INSTRUCTION SHEET


PABA Foundation is pleased to offer scholarships to law students of up to $6,000.
Criteria. The scholarships are available only to law students. General criteria
includes: (1) prior or current service in the Asian Pacific American community, with
emphasis in the Filipino-American community in the Southern California area; (2)
leadership roles and experience; (3) academic excellence; (4) financial need; (5)
overcoming adversity; and (6) commitment to, and ideas for, contributing to the
Filipino-American legal community.
Instructions:
(1) Include your most recent law school and undergraduate transcripts. An unofficial
copy is acceptable.
(2) Include typed responses to the application questions.
(3) Remember to sign the application. An e-signature is acceptable.
Send your completed application via email to
PABAFoundationScholarship@gmail.com no later than Friday, April 1, 2016 at
5:00 p.m. Insert 2016-17 PABA Law Scholarship [Your First and Last
Name] in the subject line of your email. The scholarship recipients will be
notified prior to, and honored at, the upcoming PABA Installation & Awards Gala on
Friday, May 6, 2016, in Los Angeles. If selected, your attendance at the gala is
required.
