Learn about all of the activities in a job you are considering and the time spent conducting each activity.
Consider not only the pay and prestige of a job, but also whether you will like the work itself.
Choose a job that is in demand.
Match your competencies to those of the job.
Remember that interest ability.
Admiring someone who chose a job does not mean that you should choose that job as well.
Nearly every job will include some activities that you dislike performing.
