1.
Rubbish Collections: The IWC has had a string of complaints about the
service offered by Amey. Would we like to make a representation as the
Wellow Residents' Group? Specific complaints or, indeed, praise!
2.
GP Services: There is an Island-wide consultation about GP services
and a consultation being carried out:

Residents may like to make their own contribution at the above link

ask the Parish Council if they would like to endorse or add to our comments.

Planning Matters in Wellow: Update

4.
Shalfleet Parish Council: - Any matters residents would like raised with
the Parish Council at their next meeting?
Elections are coming up for the Parish Council in May. Anyone living within a
few miles of the Parish is permitted to stand as a Parish Councillor. There are
no qualifications required. It costs nothing to stand but there are no payments
for your time. At this time we have no Parish Councillor resident in Wellow.
Should we field at least one if not several candidates to represent our village?
We have information about how to go about it. David Walter stood at the last
election (missed by three votes!) and will answer any questions.
