1. President Obama recalled that there had been significant
differences that he had back in 2008 with the former President
George Bush.
2. President Barack Obama pointed that former President Bushs
team had made sure that they could hit the ground running with
the transition of presidencies.
3. He also reminded that he could realize that the presidency and
vice presidency was bigger than any of them, also that it meant
so much, that it is hard to comprehend.
4. President Obama admitted that he instructed his team to follow
the example that the former President George Bushs team had
set in 2008 in order to make sure that a smooth transition was
produced with the elected President Trump.
5. He also stated that the peaceful transition of power was one of
the hallmarks of democracy.
6. President Barack Obama confirmed that all the Americans
looked up to Hillary Clinton, and her candidacy, which had sent
a message to women in general and was about their capacity of
achieving at the highest levels of politics.
7. Obama affirmed that was crucial for the United States to have a
sense of unity, a sense of inclusion and respect for their
institutions, way or life, rule of law and respect for each other.
8. President Obama recognized that there was an important work
done by moms, dads, families and congregations in each State
in order to achieve perfect union in the country.
9. Barack Obama accepted that maybe for the young people that
was that specific period of time involved in politics for the first
time, the results might have been disappointing, but they
should stay encouraged, not getting cynical.

Obama agreed that Secretary Clintons statement, about
fighting for what was right, was worthy, where sometimes you
lost an argument or an election, moving in ways some people
thought you move forward and sometimes others think was
moving back.
