Introduction
Purpose
The purpose of this document is to demonstrate the following activities:
- Wave planning activities

Identify Outbound Delivery Order Documents


1. Enter the t-code /n/SCWM/MON and click Execute

2. Navigate to Outbound > Documents > Wave, then enter any Selection Criteria, and
click Execute

3. Select the Wave line item that you wish to work on, then click Wave Item to view details
on the Wave

a. Check the items in the wave for the following:


- Order qty (no decimals)remove these deliveries from the wave
- Review weight
- Review volume
Note: Sort the columns Descending to identify issues quickly. If issues are found
with weight and volume, they need to be communicated to the Data Team so
they can be fixed.
b. Copy the column with the document number (ODO)

Verify warehouse tasks can be generated by the system for the wave

1. Enter the t-code /n/SCWM/PRDO and click Execute

2. Click Open Advanced Search

3. Click the Multiple Selection button next to the Outb. Delivery Order field

4. Paste the document numbers (ODO) and click Copy

5. Click the Advanced Search button

6. Select all documents by clicking on the Select All icon, then click Outbound Delivery
Order > Follow-on Functions > Warehouse Task

7. Click the Select All icon, and click Create

8. Sort the list by Status to view problem items

9. If all the statuses are Green, exit out of the window and do not save.

Schedule Replenishment
1. Enter t-code /n/SCWM/REPL

2. In the next screen enter the following information, and select Execute:
a. Select Order-Rel. Replenishment
b. Enter the Product number (should not need it if running for a wave)
c. Enter the Wave number
d. Select the three options under Additional Settings

Do Not Consider Min. Quantity (may select this, too, just in case)
Fill to Maximum Quantity (should not need)
Exceed Maximum Quantity (selecting this should be sufficient)

3. In the next screen, unselect the WT Immed. Box will be unselected to allow a
replenishment wave to be created for monitoring. If you need to create a task
immediately for any reason and do not need a replenishment wave, you can select it
manually, and click Execute

4. The Warehouse Request creation confirmation message will be displayed at the


bottom fo the screen

Note: You can go to the Warehouse Monitor using /n/SCWM/MON to validate that the
Wave was created using the steps below
a. Navigate to Documents > Stock Transfer
b. Enter the Warehouse Request Number
c. Display the Stock Transfer Items to view that all Warehouse Tasks have been
created
d. Display the Warehouse Tasks and acquire the associated Wave number
[ Need screenshots for these steps ]

You can now click on Warehouse orders tab and see the replenishment WOs that got created.
This view also shows the replenishment wave number. In this case, it is wave 1080.

To see if all the required replenishments have warehouse tasks created for it, you can now click
on the Stock Transfer document number, which takes you to the stock transfer delivery page.
You can also navigate here through tcode /SCWM/IM_ST

Through the Internal Stock Transfer > Follow-on Functions > Warehouse Task menu path, you
can now view whether there is any open request that has not been met with a replenishment
WT.

If everything is being replenished, you should see no items here.

There is still a potential issue with not getting all replenishments generated, and that can be due
to data mismatch between rough bin and material warehouse master. Those will be identified
when you are simulating the ODO task creation, or when you release the wave.

2. Enter a Warehouse Request number and click Execute

3. This will generate details on the Warehouse Request. Click Create, then click Create +
Save

Cartonization Planning for Waves


1. Enter t-code /n/SCWM/CAPWAVE then click Execute

2. Enter the Wave number then click Execute

3. When the number of lines to cartonize is displayed, click Yes

Maintain Planned Shipping Handling Units

3. Confirm cartonization worked correctly


a. Look for deliveries and how they are distributed across pallets
b. Look for large and small pallets
c. If there are issues, it is typically due to errors in the PackSpec these need to be
forwarded to the data team to be corrected

Release Wave as Locked


1. Enter t-code /n/SCWM/MON

2. Navigate to Outbound > Documents > Wave, and enter any Selection Criteria and
click Execute

3. Select the Wave you wish to release, then click the More Methods icon, and select
Release Wave Locked

Print Labels
1. From ECC (not EWM), enter t-code SPPFP then click Execute

2. In the Action Definiton field, enter ZMO_MULTIPLE, then click Execute

3. Select the Warehouse Orders to print, and click Execute

Unless these are bad WTs that need to be cancelled?


Note: If there are any steps that are causing problems with specific deliveries and they can not
be resolved, remove the delivery from the wave. The ENTIRE delivery must be removed.
a. To do this use the Split function under the More Methods icon in the Warehouse
Monitor. Note the wave number so that it can be passed on to someone else for
resolution.
