Mita FEED STUDY 4.0 SCOPE ‘This specification describes the work flow activities and interfaces involved in the use of Plant Design Management System (herein after PDMS) modeling, check, deliverables and Model Review {for Mila-A platform. 20 PURPOSE ‘This specification defines EPC CONTRACTOR's PDMS Implementation Strategy how to utilize PDMS for engineering and construction. The major purposes of utilizing PDMS is to serve for Mila-A platform as a design tool and to achieve following: €) Interference Free Design among Disciplines b) High Quality Documentation +) Automatic Material Take-off 4) Consistency and Uniformity Design from Common Database e) Design Visualization for Virtual Review 4) Visualization for Constructabilty / Maintainabilty / Operabiity 4g) isometric drawing issue contro! 3.0 DEFINITIONS AND ABBRIVEATIONS. > PDMS (Plant Design Management Systerr ‘A proprietary 3D-CAD software package produced by AVEVA. Equipment, piping and structure modules are provided for inputting 3D model. The drawing and report modules are provided for data or document extraction > PDMS Model Three-dimensional Mila-A piatform established by POMS and presented for Model Review > Review Reality Name of 3D Model for PDMS visualization system > PDMS Catalogue POMS catalogue such as piping material, structural member and tables for PDMS model. > RDB Reference Data Base > SES CNOOC SES LTD. >» EPC CONTRACTOR The company awarded EPC contract. 4.0 WORK FLOW ACTIVITY PDMS utilization between disciplines is controlled by Project Engineering Manager. MILA FEED STUDY 4.4 PROJECT SETUP PDMS project RDB is set up according to the following information. 2) PDMS piping material specification files are generated based on piping material specification system, b) Component standard: ASME/ASTM/APUBS etc. ©) BranchiService limits/Assembly/Structure Standard profiles/Implied Items are set. 4.2, PDMS INSTRUCTION SETUP According to the plant layout and construction requirement, the past project's POMS experience and ‘project requirements, following instruction are set a) PDMS Modeting instruction (Including area and madel definition) b) Quality Control (Including interference check) 43 DESIGN INPUT P&ID, General Layout, Equipment drawing, 20 piping planning drawing etc, are the source of information to PDMS input a) Equipment General Layout will be a reference drawing for equipment modeling. Equipment is modeled in accordance with latest vender documents. Location and nozzles are checked through PDMS, reports with source dacuments, b) Piping 2D piping planning drawing, detail sketch, P&ID and RDB information will be the source of piping modeling. All input piping shall be checked in accordance with latest MLA-SPM-202, “Specification for Piping Materials”. Data consistency, latest instrument ( piping specialty information and vent / drain existence ete. will be checked ‘All pipe supports will be input into 3D model. And the each detail pipe support drawing will be extracted from PDMS and perfected by AutoCAD. ©) Steel Structures ‘The 30 steel structure main elements are input with X-STEEL and translated to PDMS. Other small elements such as handrails, Staircases, and ladders may be input directly with POMS. With the above combination, seamless data from steel fabrication to platform PDMS model are established and design / fabrication quality is kept at high level 4d) Electrical and Instrument Electrical and Instrument input is limited to Junction Box and Lighting fixture / Cable Tray below process deck, 2D electrical and instrument layouts will be the source of information for modeling, Instrument Cable Tray, panels, etc. are modeled for interference check and confirmation of operation / maintenance Pate BIB xo: COGS wom MLA.SPM206Rew.C e enooceses 10. Mita eeeD sruby 44 QUALITY CHECK During design and madeling stage (3D Model Review), any problems will be checked in accordance with common quality check procedure and the result is reported to the related discipline engineers. Engineers can check such result then find solution and control status through 3D Model Review. 4.5 OUTPUT AND DELIVERABLES 2) lsometric drawing and MTO data ‘After Model Review and final QC check, isometric drawings are extracted from PDMS database. Extracted and issued line status is changed from unapproved to approved in POMS database to manage revision status. MTO data and isometric drawing data is synchronized and transferred to procurement and tracking system. Valves are taken off from P&ID in early stage. The first stage of piping material is taken off by conventional method due to relatively low accuracy of 3D model Final stage is taken off from PDMS database. ») Piping arrangement drawing, 2D Piping planning drawing will not be updated in detail design phase. Piping arrangement drawings will be extracted from PDMS, and perfected by AutoCAD. ©) Other drawing 20 Piping planning drawing will be utilized for some other drawing background and modified by 2D GAD system, 5.0 3D MODEL REVIEW ‘The purpose of 3D Mode! Review is to suppott the design verification process, confirm compliance with the Project Specification and check whether the design criteria have been observed with cegard to HSE, operability and maintainability. 84 RESPONSIBILITY > PM PM is responsible for organizing and scheduling 3D Model Review considering the overall project schedule. > Lead Assigned Engineer in Each Discipline (LAE) LAE is responsible for ensuring that the review is carried out for all area in accordance with the specified procedure and schedule, LAE is also responsible for ensuring that the preparation for review is property carried out, this procedure is satisfied, the schedule is ahead, all required participants are given the opportunity to review the model and the result of comments are promptly issued and followed up. 5.2 ATTENDANCE ‘3D Model Reviews will be proceeded with the following parties attendance.
