Trainer Set for Electronics Course 1 & 2

Laboratory experiments help sharpen the knowledge of the students
especially in engineering program. The experiences and learnings from the hands-on
experience may apply in the mere future. Not all schools have the privilege to
acquire a trainer sets due to financial concern and some of the trainer sets are
irrelevant to the lessons. To address these issues, the researchers decided to
develop a trainer set for electronics course.
The project design is a modular trainer set for electronics course 1 and 2. It is
based on the required compliant of CMO 24 s. 2008. Each experiment modules have
specific laboratory manuals.
Based on the survey conducted to some concern students and teachers, the
trainer set is much better compared to the non-modular one. It requires less wiring
for more time of exploring the circuitry. Since the experiment modules are
accordance with the lessons, the students will not have any difficulty in choosing the
circuits or modules to be used during the experiments as well as the laboratory
manuals.
The implications of these results are that the modular trainer set may help a
lot of students especially to the beginners. If the students will have more time in the
laboratory exercises, their learnings will prosper. With a trainer sets that is relevant to
the lessons, the students can now relate immediately to the lessons.
Further development of the project is recommended to add more features to
the said trainer set as well as to the experiment modules and manuals. Addition of
experiment modules like the topics on electronics course 3 is encourage.
