Logging into ODI Console

Access ODI Console via URL - http://<weblogic_host_name>:<port>/odiconsole
Set the ODI User Id and Password
Repository to connect can be selected from the drop down list
Click the Sign In button to login

ODI Console - Executing a Scenario

Under Explorer>Browse>Runtime>Scenarios/Load Plans>Scenarios, select a
scenario and click the execute scenario icon
On the Execute Scenario <scenario_name> dialog, set the Agent and Context
values from the drop down menu
Click the Execute Scenario button
ODI Console - Monitoring a Session

Under Explorer>Browse>Runtime>Session/Load Plan Executions>Sessions,
select a session and click the view icon to view the session information
ODI Console - Session Details View
Relationship Panel

List all the Session Steps and their details
and Child Session Details
Record statistics, children sessions and session variables can also be viewed
List the no. of child sessions running, no. of child sessions in error and no. of
successful child session

Displays the number of rows Inserted,Updated,Deleted,Errored for the session
ODI Console - Creating a Repository Connection

Under Explorer>Management, select the Repository Connections and click create
icon
On the Create Repository Connection dialog, set a Connection Alias name
Specify Master JNDI URL and Work JNDI URL registered with weblogic
Create\deploy data sources using ODI Agent\WLS admin console\WLST scripts
Provide an ODI Supervisor User Name and click Save to create connection
Generating Data Lineage Step 1 : Specify Details

Under Browse>Design Time>Models, select Data Lineage and click view icon
On the Data Lineage dialog, Under Options, Set Model,Sub-Model and Datastore
form the drop down menu
Using Naming Options to generate

meaningful names,if needed
Click the View button

Data Lineage can be followed by clicking the datastores

Transformations can be viewed by clicking the interfaces

Chech boxes to generate datastore name by prefixing model name, sub-model
name or logical name
