Emily!!

Wake up, its time to go to

school!! You are going to be late!!
Emily Newmans mom yelled from
downstairs.
Emily got up and got dressed for
school. She grabbed her backpack and
jotted downstairs for breakfast. She
woke up happy and all, not knowing
what a day she was headed for.
When she arrived at school she
immediately spotted her friend
Christina Halene. Hey Emily!
Christina said. She caught up to Emily.
They had a really long conversation.
So, are you going to eat breakfast at
school today, or did you eat breakfast
at your place? Christina asked
curiously.

I ate a-Before Emily could finish her

sentence, her friends Kayla and her
twin Kaylee ran up to them. Have you
heard that Clarissa has to get surgery
for her cancer but she is still coming
to school today? Kaylee asked while
looking for something in her
backpack.
She is really a bully though. So I
think we need to repay her with a
taste of her own medicine. Kayla
added.
Christina joined, She is the witchs
daughter and they both will probably
curse us for that, and Im the sensitive
person and I dont take it easy when
people are hurt like that.
Christi, so you dont take it easy
when she hurts us? But anyway I dont

want to take any chances on bullying

its not right period. You dont pay evil
with evil Kayla. Emily said
convincingly.
Girls, we dont do gossip right before
class! Go on inside the school!
Principal McLeod said pushing the girls
inside the school building.
In class, the girls passed notes saying:
We will
repay evil with evil after school meet
me in the library

I still dont think we should Kayla

Im with Kayla sorry Christie I think we

Guys lets meet in the library and
discuss this because Ms. Dupree is
looking at us
-Emily
At lunch, the girls met up at the same
table. NOOOOOOOO! Thats all
Christina said all through lunch break.
Christie just come with us and watch
me, Kaylee, and Emily talk. Kayla
said demandingly. Im not talking a
lot though. Emily said.
After school the girls met up at the
library. They then asked the librarian

where Clarissa was. In t-t-the cahcah-cough-cahlas-cough-cahclassroom o-o-on t-t-the leh-lehf-left.

The librarian croaked.
The 4 ran to Ms. Washingtons
classroom. They peeked through the
window and saw Clarissa showing Ms.
Washington her work. When Clarissa
was heading towards the door, the 4
girls ran behind the fiction books
shelves and hid there until Clarissa
opened the door. They all stopped her
path and Kayla said, Hey Clarissa the
sicko! The librarian was out for a
while so she didnt notice the
statement. Clarissa was weak so she
couldnt punch or kick.

Hey whats this? Your diary? Kaylee

said snatching Clarissas diary from
her hand. Kaylee handed the book to
Emily.
Oh, umDear Diary? Emily said
opening the diary then handing back
to Clarissa. Sorry! Emily whispershouted.
No problem! Clarissa whispered
back. When Emilys friends went home
Clarissa invited Emily to her house.
I texted my mom, she said yes!
Emily squealed. When they got there
Clarissas mom (aka the witch)
greeted Emily. Hellow dah-lin! How
dow yow dow? She said. Then
Clarissa corrected her mom, Its how
are you, get it right!

Hello Ms. Gosling! Emily greeted.

oh please! Call me Mariannecome
in! Have a seat! Ms. Marianne said.
Mom! We are going to my room!!
Clarissa snapped at her mom. Have
fun! Ms. Marianne said sarcastically,
walking to her kitchen.
When Emily and Clarissa got to her
room, Clarissa did something
unexpected.
I need to get revenge! Clarissa
whispered. Et misit in lacum ad
populum eart!
Clarissa cursed Emily and her friends
in Latin but the curse didnt work on
Emily because of her necklace. It was
the magical necklace of the princess
of Elebia!

OMG! You are Princess Emelia!

Clarissa gasped.
How do you know me? Stand back!
Emily screamed. She knew her friends
got sent to the depths of the earth.
Exite! Clarissa used her magic to
poof Emily away. Suddenly, Emily was
at her house.
When she went to all her friends
houses, their parents said they were
missing.
Emily knew they were locked up
someplace in the depths of the earth!
Emily really wasnt in her normal
house because when she went to her
room there was a sword in a rock.

One of those, that when you pull the

sword out you are crowned king or
something.
Of course Emily pulled the sword
SHWING!
Emily found herself in a forest. Now
she was determined to find her
friends.
Hello, Emily cupped her hands and
yelled. Anyone there? She said.
Emily found a piece of paper that said
who are you.
I am Princess Emilia. Call me Emily.
Emily yelled rereading the note. Emily
looked up to see where the notes were
coming from.

Emily was startled to see a giant

mouse with a collar printer. She
named her Mouser. Emily told Mouser
her story so far.
Jump on my back, I will make your
journey faster! the printer printed.
Emily thanked Mouser and hopped on
her back. Emily and Mouser became
the best of friends. On their way they
heard a snap. They didnt know they
were being followed.
Suddenly, an arrow flew towards
Mouser. Emily dashed off Mousers
back and tried to block the arrow from
hitting Mouser.
But unfortunately, the arrow struck
Mouser in the chest. NO! Mouser!
Emily sobbed. Then the creature that
struck Mouser showed itself.

It was a creature that looked like a

porcupine. But the creature had a
human looking face and body.
Then Emily used her cloud magic to
put on her princess hero outfit. It had
glitter on the skirt and said Emily on
it.
The shirt hand an E on it and it was
pink. Emilys crown was all sparkly
and had a diamond in the middle.
The creature shot 10 arrows at Emily.
But Emily shot clouds back to reverse
the movement. The arrows shot the
creaturebut it didnt get affected.
So Emily shot a whole bunch of clouds
repeatedly at the creature. Soon the
creature was nothing but a piece of
dust.

Emily needed to fix Mousers wound.

She needed a magnolia flower camel
spit. She found the magnolia flower
but couldnt find camel spit anywhere.
Emily started crying. What she didnt
know was that her tears were magic
healing powers.
Mousers eyes started fluttering
rapidly. Mouser woke up! Emily was
suddenly poofed to a place where 3
girls were tied up.
Emily! Christina, Kayla, and Kaylee
whisper-shouted.
Why are you guys whispering? Emily
said. Shhh! The girls shushed
pointing to a walkie-talkie that
recorded every sound they made.

Well, well, well Clarissa said.

Emily, go ahead free the hostages,
Clarissa bellowed. Emily didnt wait.
She ran to her friends and freed them.
It wont be that easy Emily, you and
your friends will pay! Clarissa said
shooting arrows at Emily.
It all made sense to Emily now.
Clarissa helped Emily find her friends.
Thats why Emily kept getting poofed!
She sent the porcu-human!
Clarissa kept shooting arrows at her
and her friends. Her friends kept
dodging the arrows, but Emily was still
trying to figure out why Clarissa
helped her.
An arrow struck Emily on the arm.
Ow! Emily cried out. She tried to

cry, but no tears came. Emily!! The

3 girls cried out.
Clarissa stopped shooting arrows
because what she saw next couldnt
be described by human eyes. (Or
witch eyes)
Christina started floating and twirling.
Her body surrounded by glitter. Her
clothes turned into a hero outfit just
like Emilys but it had a C on the skirt
and shirt. She had fire powers.
Kayla floated and twirled with her
eyes shut tight. Her outfit changed
quickly into a hero outfit that had a K
on the skirt but her shirt had KAYLA
on it. She had earth powers.
Kaylee floated and twirled, her eyes
wide open looking amazed. She gazed
at her outfit changing quickly. Her

skirt also said K on it, but her shirt

said Kaylee. She had water powers.
The 3 did an indescribable power
move. Christina, Kayla, and Kaylee,
altogether burst out all of their power
towards Clarissa.
When all the smoke cleared up,
Clarissa was nothing but dust. Now
they were helpless. There was no way
they could help Emily. They burst out
crying. Then something unexpected
happened.
Emily was healed! The arrow
disappeared. They realized that their
tears were magic healing powers.
Now all we need is a name for our
hero team, Christina said thinking
about a name. How about Pixies
Suggested Kaylee. NoI GOT IT! How

about, The Hero Squad?! Emily

suggested.
The girls loved the name. So it was
official. The Hero Squad.
