Copy one board game sheet for each group of three to four students.
Put students into groups of three to four players. Each group needs one copy of
the board game only. Firstly, get students to write their names in the table in the
middle of the board. Students must then discuss every square using the present
perfect and say if they have or haven't done it. If a student has done it, they
collect the points in brackets. The player with the highest number of points wins.
Encourage students to ask follow up questions.
Monitor the students, and when appropriate provide any necessary language or
vocabulary input.
Draw the students' attention to any specific mistakes which seem prevalent
through the work and offer language input.
