Marketing Communications Intern
As a marketing communications intern, I had a variety
of responsibilities. I was mainly tasked with assisting
the marketing team with media outreach for the launch
of their partnership with the Tim Horton Childrens
Foundation. I was responsible for writing media
releases, media advisories, and developing targeted
media lists. I developed and scheduled social media
content for all of Edge Imagings social media accounts.

Account Executive
Through the Agency at Mohawk College, I worked with a
team of 6 to develop a crisis communications plan,
organize and execute an event to raise awareness, and
develop an integrated marketing communications
plan. My main responsibility was to prepare all
PowerPoint presentations and I was the lead presenter.
The Forge is a local organization that helps
entrepreneurs with developing their own start-ups.

I managed a team of 10 to develop and successfully
implement a fundraising campaign to raise money for
Wellwood, a cancer support charity that helps the
Hamilton Community.

My primary responsibility was to help customers
choose a mobile phone that met their needs and help
set-up their devices. I assisted customers with
troubleshooting issues and sending their devices out
for repair. I received and organized inventory. I
ensured that I always knew what my sales targets
were and what I needed to do to not only meet but
exceed them.
