considering geotechnical recommendations, however enclosed EIL standard drawing
with bid shows minimum sections. Extent of heavy duty RCC pavement shall be ascertained by the contractor and heavy duty pavement shall be designed/ provided for required crane weight or any other heavier crane proposed to be used by the contractor for erection and maintenance. Hard stand for erection of heavy equipments by cranes shall be ascertained by the contractor & provided as required. Hard stand required for the erection of heavy equipment shall be designed as per erection loads by the contractor. Based on soil data, the hard stand required for erection of heavy equipments to be designed and provided as per equipment erection philosophy/type of cranes to be used inside and outside the battery limit. Dismantling of hard stand if required, as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge / representative of Owner. Disposal of unserviceable material within BPCL property limit (old refinery & DHDS area). DRINKING WATER SYSTEM
Distribution network of Drinking water system for coke handling areas/ buildings, safety shower & eye wash or any other places required in the EPC scope limit, hookup with valve, matching flange, fittings and valve pit from tapping point connected with the main drinking water network as per scope limit drawing enclosed with this bid package. Any boosting pump required to enhance the drinking water pressure is in EPC contractors scope. The minimum pressure available in the drinking water network is 2.5 kg/cm2g (approximate) at hook-up. However exact pressure will be confirmed during detailed engineering Designed, supply of all materials, construction, testing and commissioning of drinking water system shall be provided in the coke handling area and buildings (control room/substation) to meet the drinking water requirements. The drinking water system shall supply water to all buildings, drinking water posts etc. including to safety shower / eyewash. The drinking water shall be tapped from the tapping point available (tie-in coordinate shown is tentative, tie-in coordinate will be finalized during detail engineering) as shown in the scope drawing including hook-up and provide drinking water posts, piping, fittings, all accessories, design, testing & commissioning as per relevant IS codes & specifications. A minimum dia of 2 (exact size of pipes to be ascertained by contractor) drinking water header to safety shower & eyewash units shall be provided. The drinking water lines in all buildings shall be concealed. All above ground drinking water header shall be insulated. Individual buildings shall be provided with HDPE water storage tank (minimum 1000 litres) on roof of the building as per IS:12701. Water supply for drinking water system is to be taken from the WDK line as shown in dwg no. A307-OID-16-43-7000.
