PennWell Corporation, and ImpactWeather today launch the world’s first and only Global
Offshore Weather Report serving the offshore oil and natural gas industry.
Focusing on the nine most-active offshore exploration and production regions, the Global
Offshore Weather Report provides the petroleum industry much-needed weather, wind and wave
information in chapterized daily video forecasts.
The Global Offshore Weather Report by PennEnergy and ImpactWeather will provide daily 2- to
3-minute video weather forecasts focusing on the nine most-active offshore exploration and
production regions, including the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea, Brazil, West Africa, North Sea,
Mediterranean, Middle East & South Asia, Asia Pacific & Far East, and the Arctic.
Experienced Impact Weather meteorologists will provide wind, weather and wave information in
24-hour forecast charts split into 6-hour increments. Visuals will be supplemented with
customized and satellite animations.
