The following excerpt appears in the new bookPatriot Dawn The Resistance Rises, by Max

Regiment. More recently, he has served in a Combat Medic and Civil Affairs role in the US Army

His latest book, Patriot Dawn The Resistance Rises, is a step away from the user friendly
tactical manuals he is known for, and combines the excitement of an action-packed fictional
novel with real-world battle hardened experience in offensive, defensive and counter-insurgency
strategies and tactics.
The United States has descended into Civil War. The storm was rising for some time, a
Resistance in the hearts of American Patriots to the strangulation of liberty by creeping
authoritarianism. The scene was set. It just took a little push.
A terrorist attack on the United States leads to war with Iran, followed by collapse, as
the economy goes over the cliff. The final blow is a widespread opportunistic Chinese
cyber attack, taking down the North American Power Grid.
From the ashes, the Regime emerges. Liberty is dead. What remains of the United
States of America is polarized.
The Resistance Rises.
Jack Berenger is a former Army Ranger Captain, living in northern Virginia with his
family. Following the collapse, they fall foul of Regime violence and evacuate to the
farm of an old Army friend. Jack is recruited into the resistance, to train the fledgling
forces in the Shenandoah Valley. The fight begins. Resist.
The following excerpt appears in the prologue of Patriot Dawn The Resistance Risesand takes
place just after a large-scale terrorist attack on Washington D.C.
The terrorist attackers were reported to have been recruited,
abetted, directed and sponsored by Iran, although the details were
unclear and it appeared that an investigation was not the top priority
of the Administration.
How had the terrorists managed to charter this plane, which had
apparently originated in Dubai on a one stop flight to the US,
loading it with two hundred heavily armed fighters, without alerting
any suspicion?
However, the focus following the attack was not international but
domestic, and the priority was the safety and security of the public
by the accelerated implementation of the massive domestic
surveillance and policing drive.
Fear was paramount and the masses were even more convinced
that giving up their freedom and rights was in their best interests for

their safety and security. Many internet bloggers and alternative media sites were describing the
attack as a False Flag, abetted by the Powers That Be, but those crackpots were soon shut
down by the Department of Homeland Security, in order to prevent further panic mongering.
The attack also provided the justification for war against Iran. However, that war was prosecuted
by the Administration in the form of a primarily naval and air campaign that limited the
involvement of ground troops.
This limitation allowed for the deployment of troops as convenient to the agenda of the
Administration and the military-industrial complex, but ensured that sufficient active duty units
remained available for domestic operations.
The attack on Iran was however the final straw that preceded the total meltdown of the Middle
East.
As part of the 2012 National Defense Authorization Act, measures were in place to allow Posse
Comitatus laws to be ignored domestically. This was activated by executive order and active duty
and reserve U.S. Army units were used to reinforce the National Guard in operations against
domestic terrorists and sleeper cells.
The terrorist attack had precipitated the final mortal blow to liberty and the destruction of the
United States of America as a Constitutional Republic. It was true that the erosion of liberty and
the Bill of Rights had been going on for some time; the Constitution was viewed by many as a
dead document, and the measures had already been put in place for the implementation of a
state of emergency.
The attack had been a terrible thing, but at the same time it was so convenient to the agenda of
the Administration. Everything since the attack had been the death rattle of liberty as the police
surveillance state was fully imposed.
Due process and Habeus Corpus were suspended, and the NDAA allowed arrest and internment
without probable cause or trial on the simple suspicion by the authorities that someone posed a
terrorist threat; a system that was easily abused.
Everything in society was now centered on compliance and obedience to authority. Questioning
of the orders of those in authority positions was not tolerated. America was no longer the land of
the free, but anyone with a mind had seen that coming for a long time.

Anyone with ideas counter to the official line, or who argued or challenged authority, was labeled
a domestic terrorist, arrested and interned in corrective and reeducation facilities.
Following the activation of the NDAA by Executive Order, a state of emergency was
implemented. It was necessary, because another terrorist attack could happen at any time, and
anyone could be a terrorist. There was a lot of talk about sleeper cells and many citizens were
arrested and interned without trial. Extremist terrorist organizations, including Patriot and
conservative organizations such as the Tea Party, were outlawed.
It wasnt really clear to the general public exactly what happened next, given that they only got
their information from the Administration via the heavily state directed mainstream media, and the
internet was now under heavy lockdown. However, the economic dangers that had been looming
and fueled by the continuous policy of Quantitive Easing, or money printing by the Federal
Reserve, finally came home to roost.
The economy went over the cliff. There was much discussion that the actual precipitator of the
plunge was the cabal of bankers who were the real power behind the Regime; they had pulled
the financial plug, causing a massive run on the banks and hyperinflation, just like they had done
in 1929 to cause the Great Depression. But who really knew, given the lockdown?
The effect was ultimately to cripple the economy, destroying the middle classes. What better way
to turn the screws of citizen compliance when so many were now reliant on entitlement
handouts?

The progressive agenda of collective socialism was nearing its ultimate fulfillment; coerced
redistribution of wealth, except now no-one was generating any wealth to feed the monster of the
dependent welfare classes.

Wingnut: Thats been one of our biggest problems as gun owners;

outspoken nut jobs. The only ones the media let speak are the ones
that are Bat-Shit-Crazy which makes it difficult for the rest of us to have
an intelligent conversation with those that are not. Theres always this

Well said, but not what most desire to hear. Look closely at
everything that is stated, and one sees a serious problem arising, not
just with government intrusion, but with many who live each day with
the desire to kill something. This places them in the same category
of those they despise.
It is difficult to be balanced with so much fear and hype, when hype
is never needed if truth is told. Hype is for one purpose only: it
produces revenue. it influences some people to begin to think
irrationally, and it pushes some of these people to a dangerous brink.

Here is my take. Our little group of wandering minstrals has whites,

blacks, asians and hispanics. There are Christians, one Muslim, two
Jews, several devout Catholics and one Pagan. And we have all
fought for each other and came to each others aid in real
confrontations (not just PS3 fights). We are what America used to
be. A mixing pot of ideals, cultures and diversity that stand together
for freedom and the Constitution, and like a sword that uses different
alloys to make it stronger, we use each other to make us strong.
We are ex military (Army, Marine Corps, and Air force), we are Law
Enforcement, we are Fire Fighters and EMTs, we are gardeners and
animal breeders, we are cowboys and cowgirls, and we are civilians
who back up all of the above and simply love America.

conquered. If you have every Jew and zionist killed then you may
belong the next target group. That is how the NAZIs and every other
totalitarian group has done it in the past, one group at a time and as
long as they didnt come for your group then you didnt care.

Nowhere, not even once, have I advocated killing anyone.
For crimes against humanity, including economic crimes against
humanity, I have advocated prosecution of the guilty in fair trials. I
have also advocated leaving the innocent alone.

I am currently up to Chapter 4 on this guys book Contact! A Tactical

Manual for Post Collapse Survival and let me clue everyone in on the
fact that, squeezed in between some fairly decent tactical information,
Max Velocity is pushing the standard Cultural Marxist party-line, and
suicidal brainwashing.
In short, Max Velocity is advising his readers to ignore one of the
absolutely most important, most critical and guaranteed-to-be-hazardous
to your survival areas of consideration. That area, simply stated, is race
realism and how critical it is for White European people to get their
heads wrapped around that all-important issue and how lacking an
understanding of it will most certainly result in the deaths of their loved
ones and of themself, in any WROL (Without Rule of Law), post collapse
situation.
I noticed that this book appears to have been first published in July
2012, which has to mean that Velocity was in the process of writing it
during the year or so prior to its final release. Why is this detail
significant to the regular readers of this website?
Answer: It was roughly during the period of time between 2009 to 2011
or so, where Great Britain (Max is a Brit) and France and a whole host of
other historic White nations across Europe, were experiencing massive
outbreaks of rioting, looting, arson, and assorted other criminality and
the overwhelming majority of that violence and terrorism was being
orchestrated not by White European people in those respective
nations, but by the hordes of incompatible and indigestible third world,
non-Whites who the ruling elites in those nations have been stupidly
importing into these formerly safe and civilized, White Western societies.
Therefore, I have to ask myself a question about Mr. Max Velocity and
what his real agenda might be besides selling books. Is it conceivable
that Max was so preoccupied with his writing that did not notice the
massive levels of rioting and looting and arson that the rest of entire
world was continually shown on every mainstream media news program

Now there are conspiracy theorists and there are conspiracy

enthusiasts who can find a good conspiracy in any situation in life. I
have read all three of the authors books (just finished Patriot Dawn
on Kindle. I find it amazing that one could come to a conclusion such
as this concerning race. The authors books are full of insightful
tactical information that will be invaluable post SHTF. Your writing

nothing in any of these books that say you shouldnt consider
difference or race nor does it specifically point out that these are

Yes, I do. I have a hardback copy of that book and, despite the fact that
it did have a lot of moderately boring sections where Ross went into
really deep detail about firearms ballistics, historical events, etc., I stuck
with it and was glad I did. The actual story he told was outstanding and
its one of the best books Ive ever read.
He was supposed to be writing a sequel to it, but from the information I
can glean off the web, he hasnt made any progress and is about 4 or 5
years beyond the initially predicted release date.

friend threw out/donated 350 plus books to incl patriot and various non fiction,
encyclopedias, and fiction. Some of us just took them to the rescue mission along

the house. Unless dvds are free online, I wont bother either; dvds has been

entertainment. I recently read about the collapse of argentina, the writer stated
that books and paper became very valuable. It was an excellent account of life

lights out 4 or 5 times, sometimes I read 300 to 400 pages a night.. Like I said I

Instead sir I say just a single Idea would make a much bigger differance. My
Thought and my prayers go to just one word ( Freedom ) It is a single word that our

I teach my kids how live off the land, how to lite a fire with sticks, how to shoot, hunt, clean
and preserve meat, recognizing what plants are edible, and which have medicinal

Has anyone ever heard of the paperback book out of the ashes by william t johnstone?
copyright 1983. Its a good read with alot of good points to think about. A friend loaned it to
me years ago. Hes gone to his rest God bless him. He was part of my awakening to
whats going on. Also he told me of The Road book,which we both looked forward to a
movie. I wish he was still around. I need a good buddy watchin my 6. It sickens me to see
the direction it all is going. Im ready,but hate the thought of having to use my preps It
will be a sad day..I just hope those responsible in high places will get whats coming to

dozen) have a few folks in them that have these qualities. This site is no different. I
love a good End of Times book/movie like anyone else. But what people continually
fail to realize is that most collapses throughout history were slow. The longer lived, and
wider spread, the empire, the slower the collapse. Large roving bands attacking
peaceful folk as depicted in many of these stories are not realistic. One word:
microbes; clean water and proper sanitation are a must to any mobile army. With
todays large population there isnt a clean water source anywhere. And when the
power goes off and people start dying off its going to get a whole lot worse. Every
water souce is a potential death trap. Without proper methods of water purification and
immunizations against things like Cholera and Typhoid, these mobile armies will be
dying like flies, exaserbating the problem. Never taught in school is the history of
diseases and infection that have ravaged every army since the beginning of time.
Hoards like the Mongols, Huns, and Goths had lots of clean water and still died by the
hundreds from disease when the world was much smaller and very clean compared to
today. These fantasies are fun but they are just that, fun stories without much chance
of coming to fruititon. Relax and enjoy the book.

Last yr on New years eve when the NDAA was signed I posted it was a act of war.. 20
mins later I got a visit from my local police.. After much talk everybody said now is not the

occur and then an earthquake in california. This is just the straw that broke the camels
back as high pressure has little effect on a fault. Actually water, the lack of it or too

release of groundwater pressure can act like a what happens in Long Beach 1933

if you posted a review in the last 12 hours it is possible that it was lost during the
server migration there was a mistake in one of our ip routing files that did not get
resolved until this morning. some parts of the country saw one website (old server)
while others were seeing the new server version. That being said, comments posted
on the old version were likely lost when the new routing tables took over
unfortunately, recovering those now may prove a bit difficult, but if we can recover
them we will post them.
No grand conspiracy to silence your book review or other comments just a technical

Howdy, braveheart. Just got home from work, and had to check in so I could catch up.
Memphis, eh? Passed through there years ago on my way to Fort Hood. Didnt see
much, but what I did see didnt seem too bad. However, Ive heard some of the stories.

Ive got tons of books, and enjoy reading for a while after work to wind down. Got the
whole series of Jack Reacher novels by Lee Child. Good reading.
Stephen Hunter wrote Point of Impact, and introduced Bob Lee Swagger. Theres
several other ones with Bob Lee as the main character. My favorites are Time to Kill,
and Black Light. Borrowed the others from the library, but werent as good as those
two, IMO. He also wrote some others with Earl Swagger, Bob Lees daddy. Great
books.
David Morrell, author of First Blood. If you want a book to keep you turning pages, its
a good one. Set in Kentucky, too.

Secretary of state issues permission to non-citizens for full automatic weapons while
traveling inside U.S. under the diplomatic title, U.S. Marshal service have assault
weapons, State and local law enforcement. These groups have no special rights under the
Constitution for military style weapons, yet they carry them, while not being a standing
army. Why is their safety put above the safety of those of the average citizens, that face
criminals and gangs armed as well as any military with small arms?
This is the kind of politician is creating gun free zones, where 99% of these mass
shootings occur. They never answer any of the serious questions about their own failures
to secure the public from criminals and mental patients their appointed judges release.
They never answer how killing Liberty for the law abiding stops the mentally deranged
drug cartels and sorted violent chronic criminals will give up their illegal assault weapons
or high capacity magazines. They never answer the question why so many agencies have
become standing armies, completely contrary to the U.S. Constitution. If you think they are
justified to carry military style guns and not the average law abiding citizen, then you all
need to open the Federalist papers and Constitution and read them.

Preppers. I have a question on silver. I have been buying some physical silver. It it not
much, but I want to have enough to maybe barter with if times get tough, or to save.
My silver investments have come three ways(1) the pre-1965 dimes, (2) the US Silver
Eagles, and (3) silver melted by others that have 0.999 fine silver and also weigh 31.1
gms.
My dime collection I have separated them three ways (1) 1960-1964, (2) 1940-1959, and
(3) 1896-1939. I plan to sell all my 1960-1964 dimes.
My question is that I prefer the US Silver Eagles.
Is there really a better way. I will buy some more silver this year, but that will be it. I want
to buy the best value that can also be used to cash in later. Thanks.

so that we know what we are lacking. You know, like did our solar
radios work well, could we cook food without the conventional oven,
and so forth.
The biggest thing I am worried about is the economic collapse. It is
coming. And it will be before year 2020, most likely around 2015 or
2016. Thus 2013 is it for most preppers to buy before the real
inflation hits.

I would like to add that a good .22 lr long gun will go very far. My
father shot my ruger 10/22 yesterday as an instructional step prior to
shooting my AR. He loved it and really felt it would work well in a
defense situation if it needed to. Id recommend buying as much .22
lr ammo and try to find either a .22 lever gun or a ruger 10/22. n the
latter case get the 25 round extened mags.

Looks like I got zapped during the upgrade server window commenting on the article. Oh
well. Here is what is happening in regards to the earthquake situation. Today there was
another earthquake in the polar region, just east of the Falklands Islands. This region has
only been hit with earthquake sequences 7 times in the past 40 years. ALL 7 times there
was a large earthquake afterwards. On top of the other polar activity and in the Carlsburg
Ridge, this confirms something quite large is coming.
I still say China is the number one target. Then I would say Mexico and Caribbean area,
Chile/Peru, Argentina region, Japan, Vanuatu area to Fiji and Kermandec Islands,
Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, west coast of the U.S., especially california. It could be a
bit off from these areas, but these areas are really where these energy signatures are
coming from directed at these polar regions. These precursor quakes keep coming up in
the same spots together where they lead to a big earthquake before.
I would say there is a decent chance of a 8+ this time, maybe a 9+. Too many different
spots that have been hit. I was so sure of something coming that I sent Mac the warning,
during the site upgrade, so he could verify that the forecast was made before it happened.
Just look at all the earthquakes on these plate boundaries that dont have that much stress
on them. This is how these distant foreshocks work, they tend to find areas that are not
locked and can move. When it happens, it should be clearer if faults in the U.S. are in
further danger.

I was a younger man, Id like to get into residential architecture. I read an article on
criminal home invasions and law enforcement swat teams going to the wrong house. The
ultimate solution was to have a house that nobody could get into, unless you let
them in. If it is the cops trying to get in, you call 911 and verify it is the real deal wanting in
your home, then if we are still living in a civil society where law enforcement can be trusted
to do the right thing, tell 911 to advise them that you will be opening the door and will be
offering no resistance.
It is my understanding that some criminals are impersonating law enforcement to help
them carry out their crimes in some places.
With residential architecture it would be nice to design houses that look like normal
everyday houses, yet have extra security features built in. This community in Idaho would
do well to consider this level of security for the homes they build also. Lots of possibilities
from defense of each home to segments of neighbor to the whole community.

another our lives, our fortunes and our Sacred Honor to defend one another and Liberty

@ Ugly. You are so correct about the planet and the universe going mad. They had
a 5.5 just a little while ago in the Gulf Of California, see how the energy is aiming
towards the california region. They also had another sub-polar earthquake in the
South Sandwich Islands region. I am so sure of a big earthquake coming. When
you have this much activity in the polar areas WATCH OUT, something bad is
coming. WHY? Because it shows that there are several different locations being hit
from at least two massively locked up and ready to break faults.
I tell you, my subconscious is really tormenting me, I had nightmares all last night

(AKISMET software) or WordPress fails to recognize certain characters and rejects

With respect to using the word Christian. No, we do not moderate comments for being
pro-Christian or pro-any religion.
Issues this weekend: We did a major server upgrade this weekend and had some
issues with the sync of our server IP addresses for about 6 12 hours. During that
time period some comments, unfortunately, were lost and cannot be recovered. There
were 25 50 comments that were wiped by the system due to a routing error in our IP
tables. My apologies to those who lost comments during this time period that was
my mistake.
This site is what it is because of its community, and we did not get here by censoring
comments or picking and choosing whos views were more relevant or important. We
try to let everything fly here.
So, unless you are breaking the law, calling for violent actions against specific

They had a poll on Yahoo about how often do you eat fast food. 30% said often, 61% said
rarely, and ONLY 9% said never. This goes hand in hand with the percentage of people
that actually prepare, as preppers understasnd the value of money and how mega
expensive it is to purchase junk food and not prepare your own food. It is incredible just
how much food you can get for the price of a familys fast food meal. I can cook up enough
for at least 4 meals for the price of ONE fast food meal.
Can you imagine the 30% of the population that depends on fast food to live, what they
are going to do when all this happens? They will starve or eat out of garbage cans before
the wild animals can get to them. Can you imagine the horror that those that have not
even tried to prepare will go through when SHTF in mega fashion. Maybe they will get
lucky and fema will throw them a little pre-packaged envelope of gruel they can gnaw on.

Youre right about the prices of fast food. For the price of a chicken dinner for four from
our local chicken house (about $25, currently) I can pick up enough items to feed the
four of us for nearly a week.
Post-SHTF, those that depend on the fast food will be in deep doo doo. That kind of
goes along with something I said on another post about other modern gadgets. Most
people that depend on them will be lost without their smart phones, facebook, twitter,
tablets, notebooks etc.
Been working on my preps like a madman. Every chance i get Im picking up
something, even if its just a couple boxes of ammo.
I agree with everyone who are saying 2013 is the year to get whatever you need.

Yea, it is ridiculous how much is spent on fast food and how addictive it has become.
We got into a habit this summer of stopping by the drive thru on our way to the retreat
(across town and a drive up into the mountains) where our gardens/animals etc. are
located, at least four days each week. When the funds started shrinking due to fuel
and increase on food, I said something has got to give.
We cut our weekly food expense by half, by limiting our stop at biscuit & burger barns
(suck-holes), to once a week. We dont put Subway in that category because we split a
footlong turkey for only five and some change.
We now stock up on brunch/lunch soups at Walmarket for a buck fifty per can and with
all the Campbell soup flavors, we dont get bored with it. Thats now our fast food plan.
I still enjoy that B-Mac w/ fries, but only once or twice each month. We learned long
ago that paying for the sodas at those places was ripping us a new butt hole and
making them rich, not to mention the unhealthy issues.
The fast food chicken? Forget about it. Its loaded with grease and will cost you 25
bucks to feed a family of four. The market deli chicken is better and about half the cost
with the fixins.
I dont think it will be much longer and most people will be priced out of the fast food
market. A 50% jump in fuel prices will do the trick.

The explosion of gun sales recently has prompted me to come to this conclusion. All of
these people at gun shows, gun shops, etc, are sending obama and his coharts a

Went to Kentucky Gun Co in Bardstown on Friday with a friend of mine. He bought his
first gun there. Nearly all of the reasonably priced guns were cleaned out, and the
rest were the high-end brands (Benelli, Ithaca, etc.) He did manage to pick up a decent
9mm for about $300.
They did have a fair supply of ammo, and I grabbed some while I had the chance.
Seems to me that folks here in Kentucky are sending a clear message to TPTB.

Dont bet on them backing down at all. They have an agenda and will stop at nothing to
fulfill it.First it will be some little thing, then another, and another until we are like England,
disarmed and unable to protect ourselves.
Either that or they are going to start rounding up the more vocal gun owners and make
examples as terrorists until there is a Waco type event so they can go see, we said they
were dangerous and ban everything outright. At that point it will get ugly:
1. people will not stand for it, protests and riots
2. small groups of pissed off people will act against politicians, TSA, FBI, etc
3. martial law will be declared
4. military will start to defect or dissappear
5. UN help will be required
6. complete and total anarchy ensues when the handout/obamaphone crowd cant get
free stuff
7. societal breakdown as the large cities self destruct
8. rural areas are going to be overrun outside of the cities as hordes of people flee the
chaos
9. Escape from New York becomes a documentary
10. anything goes
Thats just my opinion of how things will work out worst case. I pray it doesnt happen, but
its not looking good.

Everything up to this point is the culmination of decades of planning. To further the
agenda, disarmament must happen.
As a side note, people around here, especially in the past month or so, have become
incresingly surly. Used to be you could get a smile or a friendly nod out of just about
anyone. Now, not so much.
Dont want to read too much into that, but its almost as if people are picking up vibes
that things are about to go way off track.

same for myself, especially on .22lr ammo. went to a gun show today and bought 2 more
bricks. Everyone else in memphis is out of .22. never saw a shortage of .22 anywhere until
recently. neoisolationist, youre right on target about the Ruger 10/22. i have one and love
it, along with both of my .22 pistols. the entire country is sending a messsage to TPTB: if

Big 5 had the stainless version of the 10/22 for $249.00 a couple of weeks ago. The
usual price is $369.00. Not sure if they still have any at that price. Great little rifle.

I read the book. Excellent read, read it in 2 evening sit downs. It helps get your head
around some plausible scenarios, but it really is fantasy near the end.
But I recommend the book.
