EDUCATIONALOUTREACH
20162017SCHOOLYEAR
UnLocal expects to collaborate with at least 15
different high schools. UnLocal is currently working
with the Internationals Network for Public Schools,
the New York City Department of Education, and
college access partners to expand the project.
UnLocal staff and its volunteers are expected to
impact 400+ students through the partnerships with
these 15 schools and 25 guidance counselors.
COLLEGEACCESSPROGRAM
In 2017, UnLocal staff will work with guidance
counselors, students and families on how to apply
and finance college as an undocumented student
or a student from a mixed immigration status
family. The project involves presentations to
guidance counselors and other support staff at
high schools.
