AfDB boosts regional trade in East Africa, lending

USD 245M for an important transport project

Bank approved a USD 245 million loan to the
Governments of Uganda and Rwanda for two
important roads, impacting both regional and
local activities. These two landlocked countries
have placed transport infrastructure as key
development priorities.
