On 12/6/16 at approximately 1200 hours, | received a referral from Dauphin Counly Children and Youth Services (CYS) regarding a suspected Incident of child abuse end neglect involving tne three young children of the Co-Defendanis, Joshua Ross WEYANT and Brandi Jene WEYANT of 1005 North River Road, Habfax Township, Dauphin County. On 42/16/16 at approximately 1230 hours, Trooper PETERS and] arrived at he Co-Defendants residence with CYS caseworkers SMITH ‘and REINHARD. The WEYANT's invited us ino their home snd agread to meet with Invesligators regaralng the abuse allegations, During the inital investigation, Investigators were tol that ten Indlviduals resided inthe house and investigators ltentfied the Co- Defendant's young dependent children: (victims) JTW age 6, SRB age § end HRW age 4, to be In extreme coor physical health, All ‘three vletins appeared fral and weak, extremely thin, with idenlifed bruising and abrasions upon thelr bodies. Tho only heat cources identi inthe home were a space heater in the parents’ bedreom and an open stove in the Kitchen, The vieime stated numerous tmce that they were cald, and desplte having multiple layers of the clthing on they were piiyaicaly shivering while being interviewed. CYS Cacoworkor SMITH provided the children with her coat to kagp them warm. The Viclin’s Bedroom wes found to be an unfinished room, Bering no furiluro, oye or objects of any kind. CYS. The Co-Defendents egroed that investigators should take ‘thelr children and offered no objections. On 12/16/16 at approximately 1255 hours, CYS caseworkers bogan transporting the victims to the hospital, and I followed them in a PSP vehicle, ‘CONTINUED * TPR.
