ethical decisions and are not forced to compromise with their values and moral standards.
We must strive to develop our managers skills by facilitating continuous learning so that their
lives are enriched and they can grow along with the organisation. We must develop leaders of
future who will be contribute towards the growth story of the future and bring such business
avenues that have the potential to succeed.
The managers must be able to work in complete harmony with the workers to help further the
organisational goals.
Our fourth responsibility is towards the world we live in and the People.
We must spread awareness about the environment and sustainable development.
We must be sensitive towards nature and do our bit to reduce our countrys carbon footprint and
contribute in lowering the incessant exploitation of resources by providing alternative means of
harnessing energy. Furthermore, our product must be such that it does not create any aberration
in the environment and helps in its conservation.
We must be sensitive towards the community at large and ensure that they are not harmed
through our activities. Apart from this, we must work towards increasing their standards of living
and quality of life.
We must consider social cost of our activities and aim at maximizing the social benefits and not
only the economic benefits.
In order to fulfil our responsibility towards the community and the society, we must make efforts
to conduct such CSR activities that lead to the upliftment of the underprivileged citizens of the
country so as to give back to the society we reside in.
We must follow the rules and regulations imposed by the government also pay our dues towards
the government on time and not try to obtain any favours using unethical means.
Our fifth responsibility is towards our promoters.
We must work hard to earn enough profits which justifies our promoters investments and we can
generate healthy returns for them through dividends and ensure periodic earnings for our
shareholders.
Additionally, we must reinvest the remaining resources in the business which will enable us to
outgrow our competitors and ultimately maximise stockholders value sustainably.
We must also try to maintain a mutually beneficial relationship with our competitors so that there
is healthy competition in the industry and everyone can benefit equitably.
Finally, we must learn from our mistakes and strive not to repeat them in the future.
