7. Configuration of Engine Control ECU

ECU body (Hardware) and its Data (Software) of Engine Control ECU with new Hino common rail
system shall be supplied separately. Accordingly by writing in the data to ECU body, ECU ASSY
(hereinafter called as ECU) will be formed.
ECU controls common rail system as well as various engine related system based on the details of
written ECU program and ECU Configuration Data.
Internal memory consists of Flash ROM and EEP ROM and it is used differently according to the
kind of data.
1) Flash ROM

Reprog. harness
By using this harness, reprogramming can be made by
ECU as independent unit.
