Notes and secrets of Wird Bahrul Jud

(1) Ya Wahaabu, Ya Razzaqu, Ya Wasi'u, Ya Malikul Mulk, Ya Dhal jalali wal-Ikram, Ya Ghaniyu, Ya
Mughni'u,
Ya Latifu, Ya Latifu, Ya Latif.
Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum, bi-Rahmatika astagheeth - (3 times)
Oh Bestower, Oh Provider, Oh enricher without any limit, Oh Lord of Sovereignty, Oh Lord of Majesty
and Lord of Generosity, O Self-Sufficient, Oh Bestower of Wealth, Oh Gracious, Oh Gracious, Oh
Gracious. O Living, O Sustaining, in Your Mercy I seek relief.
The above are the attributes which are linked to Rizq;
This is from an earlier post; How are duas answered or what is mentioned about (Dua mustajab
Surely answered to accepted) Prays. Part 1
The adaab- Etiquettes of dua-supplication are based on (that it does not contain any sin or cutting
off of family relations) Allah gives of three things for every dua;
Point 11. Ask Allah as a seeker humbled, lowered, and in dire need of your Lord and what He has.
Speak with a tongue of humility, need, genuineness and honesty, realizing your true state before
Allah, Improve Your Dua Effectiveness by calling him by this 99 noble attributes as Allah addresses
use and commands us by these 99 noble attributes in the Quran and Sunnah such as; Ya Arhamar
Rahemeen, Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum, Ya Dhal-Jalali wal-Ikram, Ya Lateefu.
Seeking to draw closer to Allah by calling upon Him by His Most Beautiful Names and Sublime
Attributes at the beginning of the dua or at the end. Allah says And (all) the Most Beautiful Names
belong to Allah, so call on Him by them (7:180)
Anas ibn Malik (Allah be pleased with him) relates that if any distress befell the Prophet (Allah bless

him and give him peace), he would say: Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum, bi-Rahmatika astagheeth (O Living,
O Sustaining, in Your Mercy I seek relief!).
The Living (al-Hayy) is the One who alone has absolute, independent life. The Sustaining (alQayyum) is the One who alone needs none to sustain Him, and who sustains all things at all times,
in every way. Relief (istighatha) is seeking assistance and salvation from danger or distress.
Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn Mas'ood (Radhiallaahu Anhu) narrated that whenever Rasulullah
(Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) used to be afflicted in any worry or concern, stressful trial, he used to
recite the following supplication, 'Yaa Hayy Yaa Qayyoom birahmatika astagheeth.' (Mustadrak alHaakim vol.1 pg.509; Shu'ubul Iemaan of Imaam Bayhaqi Hadith No.:10231) Also see Kitaabud
Du'aa of Imaam Tabrani pg.47 and Majmauz zawaaid vol.10 pg.147.

(2) Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum bi-haqqi La ilaha illa Anta, Subhanaka, inni kuntu minaz-zalimin. (111
times)
The above was given to me by my late Noshahi Sufi Master, its very powerful.
Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum (O Living, O Self-Existing) The Messenger of Allah spent the night before
Badr calling upon Allah with these names "Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum.
Dhikr for the Month of Sha`ban - Sayyidi Habib `Umar bin Hafiz (may Allah preserve him and benefit
us by him) recommends reading the following 40,000 times in the the month of Sha`ban:
Ya Hayyu ya Qayyum la ilaha illa anta subhanaka inni kuntu min az-zalimin - O Living, O SelfSubsistent! There is no deity other than You. Transcendent are You, truly I am one of the
wrongdoers.
(Note bi-haqqi is added in Sayyidi Habib `Umar bin Hafiz, but its added in my version)
Accepted dua: Whoever makes dua by the method of (Dhul-Nun) sayyiduna Yunus's (Mi'raj dua
when he was in the deepth of the night, in the deepth of sea, in the deepth of the whale and this was
his Mi'raj) Known to many as Ayatul Karima or pray or distress duas will be answered and never
rejected. (This ayat is 1st Praising Allah and then 2nd (tawba - repentance) through admission of Sin
which is having (Nadam - Remorse). **there is a special way i recite it which I've not mentioned***
When saying the dua, Laa ilaaha illa anta, subhaanaka, inni kuntu minaz-zaalimeen - none has the
right to be worshipped but You O Allah, Glorified be You, above all that (evil) they associate with You!
Truly, I have been of the wrongdoers 21:87.
It was narrated in a sahih hadith that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
The prayer of Dhul-Nun (Yunus) which he said when he was in the belly of the whale: Laa ilaaha illa

anta, subhaanaka, inni kuntu minaz-zaalimeen. No Muslim recites this dua concerning any matter
but Allah will answer him. al-Tirmidhi
In his commentary on the passage: And (remember) Dhul-Nun (Jonah), when he went off in anger,
and imagined that We shall not punish him (i.e. the calamities which had befallen him)! But he cried
through the darkness (saying):
Laa ilaaha illa anta, subhaanaka, inni kuntu minaz-zaalimeen'
So We answered his call, and delivered him from the distress. And thus We do deliver the believers
(who believe in the Oneness of Allah, abstain from evil and work righteousness)( 21:87-88)
Imam Al-Qurtubi said: In this verse, Allah stipulates that whoever calls upon Him, He will answer him
as He answered and saved Dhul-Nun (Yunus). This is what is meant by the words And thus We do
deliver the believers. Al-Jami li Ahkaam il-Quran.
(3) Al-hamdu lillah (3 times) then say: Al-hamdu lillahi, hamdan kathiran tayiban mubarakan fih,
mubarakan'alaihi, kama
yuhibbu rabbuna wa yarda (1 time)
(Praise be to Allah, much good and blessed praise as our Lord loves and is pleased with)
why say Al-hamdu lillah (3 times)
If a servant says Praise to be God!" Al-hamdulillah, the 1st time, the word will fill up the space
between heaven and earth. If he says," Praise to be God!" Al-hamdulillah for the 2nd time, it will fill
up the space between the 7th heaven and the lowest earth, If he says, Praise to be God!" Alhamdulillah for the 3rd time, Allah will says, "Ask, and it shall be given to you". Hadith taken from
Imam al Ghazali's ihya - volume title Invocations and Supplications
as for:
then say: Al-hamdu lillahi, hamdan kathiran tayiban mubarakan fih, mubarakan'alaihi, kama yuhibbu
rabbuna wa yarda (1 time)
It was narrated from Mu'adh bin Rifa'ah bin Rafi' that :
His father said: "I prayed behind the Prophet ( )and I sneezed and said: 'Al-hamdu lillahi, hamdan
kathiran tayiban mubarakan fih, mubarakan'alaihi, kama yuhibbu rabbuna wa yarda (Praise be to
Allah, much good and blessed praise as our Lord loves and is pleased with.)' When he finished
praying, the Messenger of Allah ( )said:
'Who is the one who spoke during the prayer?' But no one said anything. Then he said it a second
time: 'Who is the one who spoke during the prayer?'
So Rifa'ah bin Rafi bin Afrah said: 'It was me, O Messenger of Allah.' He said: 'I said: "Praise be to
Allah, much good and blessed praise as our Lord loves and is pleased with.'"

The Prophet ( )said: 'By the One in Whose hand is my soul, thirty-odd angels hastened to see
which of them would take it up.'"
in another tradition it says:
.."Twelve angels hastened (to take it) and nothing is stopping it going all the way to the Throne.'"
(Sahih).
(4) wa may-yatta-qillaha yaj-'allahu makhraja. wa yarzuqhu min haythu la yah-tasib wa may-yatawakkal 'a- lallaahi fahuwa hasbuh.innallaha balighu amrih. qad ja'a lallahu li kulli shayin qadra (once)
"And whoever fears Allah, for him Allah brings forth a way out, and gives him provision (rizq) from
where he does not even imagine. And if any one puts his trust in Allah, sufficient is (Allah) for him.
For Allah will surely accomplish his purpose: verily, for all things has Allah appointed a due
proportion". (65:2-3) (once)
The above verse is said; Extremely Effective Duas to increase Rizq - Sustenance Provisions and
one should ( Blow) into the sky or air once its read.
**Rizq is a deep word that means more the provision**
Rizq is everything to do with spending on your 2 'aql brain and heart and 2 nafs stomach and private
parts, thus all ilm knowledge is Rizq, your spouse (husband or wife) your children and family your job
your home or properties is all Rizq the food you eat from home, buy are invited to eat are your Rizq
(5) faqul-tus-tagh-firu rabbkum innhu kana ghaffara. Yur-si-lissama'a 'alaykum-midrara wa yumdidkum bi-amwalin wa banina wa yaj'al-lakum jannatin wa yaj-'al-lakum anhara ma lakum la tar juwna
illahi waqara (once)
Ask forgiveness from your Lord; for He is Oft-Forgiving; He will send rain to you in abundance; Give
you increase in wealth and sons; and bestow on you gardens and bestow on you rivers (of flowing
water). (71:10-13) (once)
As for point (5) this is a verse of Quran, explaining Tawba will increase Rizq, there is also a hadith
that says, The one who (regularly) says Istighfaar, that is, frequently repent to Allah for sins
committed, Allah will open a path from poverty and difficulties. All sorrow and hardship will be
removed, and in its place prosperity and contentment granted. One will receive sustenance from
unimagined and unexpected sources. - Hadith
If anyone constantly seeks pardon (from Allah), Allah will appoint for him a way out of every distress
and a relief from every anxiety, and will provide sustenance for him from where he expects not. Hadith.
(istaghfaar)-Astaghfiruallah and Istaghfaar reduces sins and increases Rizq and opens the doors for
a way out from difficulties, anxieties until only tanqulity and happiness and decsends into the heart
and soul.

And finally its what of all that you actually consume-(use) that is (your rizq) not what isn't used
(example a home with 8 rooms which only 3 are used but the other 5 are guest rooms so 3 are Your
Rizq) so if you dont consume it with your brain or heart for ilm food or private parts for ego house or
objects for your body its not part of your Rizq or Qadr even so its in your obsession.
(6) Astagh-firuallah Ya Karim - 1000 up to 10'000 times - I seek forgiveness of Allah oh Generous.
Sayyidi al-Habib `Umar bin Hafiz on the subject of receiving the month of Ramadan mentions about
Laylat al-Qadr and the sunnah dua, but adds O Most Generous (Ya Karim), thus asking Allah to be
Ya Karim-Generous with HIs forgiving, and this is why ive added it too. See below the dua as
mentioned by Sayyidi al-Habib `Umar bin Hafiz.
Allahumma innaka `afuwun tuhibbu-l`afwa f`afwa `anna
O Allah, truly You are all-Pardoning, You love to pardon so pardon us (3 times). On the third time
say O Most Generous (Ya Karim).
As for point (5) and point (6) are thus connected:
Istighfar removes anxiety and Duas are surely answered.
Istighfar opens the door of sustenance-Rizq
Istighfar opens the door to have children.
Istighfar opens the door of Mercy.
Istighfar opens the door of Knowledge.
Istighfar opens the doors from every distress and a relief from every anxiety.
Istighfar opens doors to happiness and tranquillity to the soul
Istighfar is also gateway of productivity.
We so often forget the importance of the simple yet powerful Dua-(supplication) Istighfar i.e.,
saying Astagh-firullah (I seek forgiveness of Allah). Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)
recited this at least 100 times a day. Thus the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)
is to recite 100 times a day but we are 100 times more of need thus 1000 or 10'000 times should be
our target (In one minute, you can say AstaghfiruAllah 100 times or more. why 10'000 Abu hurayra
would read 12,000.
As for point (6) Abu hurayra radiyallo anho said I recite istighfar (astaghfiullah)12'000 times
everyday. And according to his grandson he had a piece of thread with 1'000 knots and would not go
to sleep until he had said subhanaAllah on all of these knots. It is known that many other
companions used beads in their private devotions, such as Saad Ibn Abi Waqas, Abu Safiah, Abu
Saad, Abu Darda
(7) Allahum-maghfir lil-muslimeena wal-muslimat, wal-mumineena wal muminat, al-ahyaa'i minhum
wal-amwat (27 times)

As for point (7) Easy rewards and Power of praying Forgiveness for the Ummah and your Duas
surely being answered. We can earn Billions of Rewards in Just a few seconds.
Whoever seeks forgiveness for the believing men and believing women, Allah will write for him a
good deed for each believing man and believing woman. - Hadith and in another The one who
seeks forgiveness for [Mu'min] males and females from Allah Taaala twenty six or twenty five times
every day, Allah Taala will count that person among those whose Dua is accepted, and through the
barakah of whom those on earth gain rizq (sustenance).- Hadith
How do to apply the above simple read dua 27 times or more as mentioned in 2nd hadith (and then
as first hadith says for every soul you ask Forgiveness and there are over 1.5 billion Muslims you are
rewarded and then after a dua for yourself and thus your duas will be surely answered insh'allah,
also the best time for dua is in the early hours before fajr its more powerful accepted too.

"Truly, Allah loves those who repent, and He loves those who cleanse themselves." (2:222)
Reciting Astaghfiruallah is an effective method of calming our self and wipes away the variety of
worldly worries from our mind and body. It may also help us, if we are suffering from depression, it
calm us and lessen our depression. Astagh-firullah also helps us to refrain from all forms of sins.
Regularly saying this reminds us that Allah is everywhere and in this way there is very small chances
of doing wrongful actions.
The doors of repentance are always open therefore dont delay your repentance in a hope of
tomorrow, as tomorrow is uncertain , Repent now and make it a habit to ask Allahs forgiveness by
reciting Astagh-firullah. Say I believe in Allahs mercy, I have sinned, I have gone astray, I have
been negligent, but still I believe in Allahs soothing mercy and forgiveness, Ill not despair.
8) Allahumma Yaa Wahhaab, Salli 'alaa Muhammadin faatihil abwaab. - (1000 times)
O Allah O Bestower, send blessings on Muhammad, the opener of doors.
Thus asking or pleading to Allah through this secret Name or Door - Ya Wahhab - O Allah O
Bestower, and then asking through the wasila of sayyiduna Muhammad (peace be be upon him), the
opener of doors to lock that door. (personally many Doors have opened by just read this this, lets
look deeper at the Name Ya Wahhab to get better dimension;
Its mentioned by Sufi Wadhifa books that reciting Ya wahhabu - O Bestower read it 1000. After Isha
Salah After the Fard of Isha Salah and between the 2 sunnah of Isha Salah and witr. (increases
Rizq)
Some extra Notes from the 99 name of Allah: Al-Wahhab, the Bestower, The Donor,The Most Liberal
Bestower, The Great Giver, The Giver of Gifts The Bestower. He who constantly bestows blessings
of every kind. The Giver Of All Things, The One who is Generous in giving plenty without any return.

Ya Wahhab: O Bestower! If you repeat this seven times after making a supplication, your plea will be
accepted. If one has a particular wish, or is held captive by an enemy, or finds it hard to make ends
meet, one should invoke this Name one hundred times after midnight on three or seven nights
(following ablution and a ritual prayer of two cycles). Allah will then grant whatever one needs.
A poverty-stricken person should say this Ism constantly: or write it and keep it on him (as a taweez)
or say it 40 times in the last sajdah of salat-Duha (Chast in urdu ):... Insha-Allah he will be freed from
poverty in an unexpected and amazing manner. For a particular need to be fulfilled, observe sajdah
thrice in the courtyard of the house or majid and then lift the hands (as in Dua) and say this Ism 100
times: If Allah wills, the need will be fulfilled. If a person really wants somethig so he should do three
sajda's in his house's yard and raise his hands and read this name 100 times God will give him his
desired need.
(9) Allahu Latifum bi 'ibadihi, yarzuqu man yasha'u, wa huwal'-Qawiyyul-'Aziz - (100 times)
Allah is gentle with His servants. he provides for whom He wills, and he is the Strong the Mighty.
Point (9) this is Ayatul Rizq and so is the key to opening Doors to Rizq, as its an ayat its best to read
100 times, especially when many don't read a chapter of Quran everyday thus the lest one should
read is 100 ayats. this stands alone in its own right and merit and has been honour with a title, just
like Ayatul Kareema, or Ayatul Kursi are also singled out and honoured too as power verses.
(10) Allahum-maftah 'alayna abwaba rahmatika wa sahhil lana asbaba rizqik (100 times)
O Allah, Open for us the doors of your mercy and make easy for us the means of obtaining your
provisions.
Above is a Sunnah dua to recite.
(11) Ya Dhal jalali wal-Ikram - (1000 times)
O Lord of Majesty and Lord of Generosity
Anas (RadhiAllahu 'anhu) reported: The Messenger of Allah (Sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) said,
"Recite frequently: `Ya Dhal-Jalali wal-Ikram! (O You, Possessor of glory and honour).''' (Tirmidhi)
Commentary: This Hadith tells us that one should make abundant use of the words `Ya-Dhal-Jalali
wal-Ikram' in his prayer because these words contain the Praise of Allah and mention His Perfect
Attributes. Some have said that Al-Jalal and Al-Ikram are Allah's Greatest Name.
(12) Ya Akramal arakamina, Akrimni bi-jahi sayyiduna arakamina salallahu alayhi wa salam (100
times)
Oh Most Generous of the generous, be generous with me, for the sake of Master of Generosity
peace be upon him

This is similar to the Allahumma Yaa Wahhaab, salawat, in so this a is also a Salawat but this is
asking Allah through this Name the Oh Generous One, and then begs for that energy of Generosity
to be given Generosity and then asks through the Waslia and sake of honour of Master of Generosity
meaning Sayyidina rasul Peace be upon him's Madaat which then makes it also a salawat too, very
very rare Sufi Dua to my knowledge its nowhere on the Internet thus be honoured to read and read
from its power.
(13) La ilaha illallahul Malikul Haqqul Mubeen - (100 times) and Muhammadur-rasulillahi saadiqil
wa'dul ameen (1 time)
There is none worthy of worship but Allah, Ruler, the Real, the Manifest Truth. 100 - Muhammad is
the messenger of Allah and he is one who fulfils his promises and is trustworthy - (on 100th end with
this)
Dua: Safety from poverty, means of acquiring wealth, and saved from the trials of the grave - This
Dua is written on the Rawdah Sharif in Al-Masjid an-Nabawi.
La ilaha illallahul Malikul Haqqul Mubeen - (100 times)
There is none worthy of worship but Allah, Ruler, the Real, the Manifest Truth.
He that recites it 100 times It will be for him a protection from poverty, and a protection from the
loneliness of the grave, and a means of becoming rich, and a way to knocking on the doors of
Paradise [i.e. it is a means that will lead a person to entering Paradise]. (Tarikh Baghdad vol.12
pg.358; Al-Hilya vol.8 pg.309)
I've added a longer Sufic version as of 1 of 15 duas of Rizq to my ***Dua Bahrul Jud (Supplication Ocean of (infinite) Generosity**
Or recite La ilaha illallahul Malikul Haqqul Mubeen Muhammadur-rasulillahi saadiqil wa'dul ameen
There is none worthy of worship but Allah, Ruler, the Real, the Manifest Truth, Muhammad is the
messenger of Allah and he is one who fulfils his promises and is trustworthy.
Other variants mention when recited 100 times:
"it will be a means of safety from poverty for him, he will attract wealth through it, it will be a solace
from the desolation of the grave for him, and he will be knocking at the gate of Paradise.
"it will be a protection for him against poverty, a means of acquiring wealth, and he will be saved from
the trials of the grave "
"he will attract wealth through it, it will be a solace from the desolation of the grave for him, and he
will be knocking at the gate of Paradise."
(14) Ya musabi-bal asbab - (500 times)

Oh Originator of Causes or Causer of causes

(Its mentioned in Sufi Wadhifa books and Sufi masters that reciting Ya musabi-bal asbab - (500
times) increases Rizq)
(15) Opening Surah - Surah al- Fatiha 1 time) followed by;
(16) Allahumma bi-haqqi hadhi-hil-Fatiha-tiftah lanaa fathan qareeba - (1 time)
O Allah, for the sake of this Opening Sura, open up for us a victory that will happen soon.
Point 15 and 16:
Best Times to make Dua (Supplication) There are certain times dua (supplication) is more likely to be
accepted by Allah as mentioned by Prophet (Best Times to make Dua (Supplication) as mentioned
by Prophet (peace be upon him) 39 have been mentioned this is number 37 from that list ). While
reciting Surah al-Fatiha.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said that Allah the Exalted had said: ' I have divided the prayer into
two halves between Me and My servant, and My servant will receive what he asks for. When the
servant says: Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the universe, Allah the Most High says: My servant has
praised Me. And when he (the servant) says: The Most Compassionate, the Merciful, Allah the Most
High says: My servant has lauded Me. When he (the servant) says: Master of the Day of Judgment,
He remarks: My servant has glorified Me, and sometimes He will say: My servant entrusted (his
affairs) to Me. When he (the worshipper) says: Thee do we worship and of Thee do we ask help, He
(Allah) says: This is between Me and My servant, and My servant will receive what he asks for.
Then, when he (the worshipper) says: Guide us to the straight path, the path of those to whom Thou
hast been Gracious -- not of those who have incurred Thy displeasure, nor of those who have gone
astray, He (Allah) says: This is for My servant, and My servant will receive what he asks for. [Muslim
4: 395]
So now that you have understood point 15, Point 16 is from Shaykh Abdal Qadiri Jilani's Duas and
he mentions "O Allah, for the sake of this Opening Sura, open up for us a victory that will happen
soon" Which is asking through the energy of Surah Al-fatiha for its secrets and help.
(17) ya jawadu, ya jawadu, ya jawadu jud-'alayna (100 times)
Oh Generous One, Oh Generous One, Oh Generous One-(unrestricted & limitless), Treat us with
Generosity!
above again from Shaykh Abdal Qadiri Jilani's Duas and jud-'alayna-Treat us with Generosity! is
