1. Work together to develop an understanding and be able to


apply the principles around classical conditioning
Participatory Activity:

First, were going to do a little demonstration about classical


conditioning. First, everyone grab a piece of candy. Then,
when I start clapping, youre going to take a bite of your
candy. Well do this 2-3 times.
Can anyone tell me what the UCR was? The UCS? The NS?
The CR? The CS?
Okay! So what were going to do next is work through a
series of scenarios where youre going to have to read the
scenario and then match up the cut out terms to the
headings UCR, UCS, NS.. etc. Then, were going to switch
scenarios until everyone gets a chance to do them once
each.
