DELIBERATIONS
COMMENCEMENT/ OPENING PRAYER
The meeting commenced at 05:30pm. The meeting was Chaired by Engr.Oladimeji
Taiwo, and Mr Musa Akpa said the Opening prayer.

adoption of the agenda, the motion was seconded by Mr Musa Akpa.

CHAPTER CHAIRMANS OPENING REMARKS
The Chairman welcomed members to the meeting. He appreciated the efforts of
members for their commitment in attending the meeting, and wished everyone
present a fruitful deliberation. He thanked the EXCO and said the meeting is not
going to be long because the normal venue for the meeting is engaged.
CORRECTION AND ADOPTION OF MINUTES OF LAST MEETING
The Minutes of the previous meeting was read and some corrections were made.
Thereafter, Engr Zamani Ishaya moved the motion for the adoption of the minutes
and seconded by Emmanuel Adedayo.
MATTERS ARISING
Zaria Branch Mr Musa Akpa said Mr Musa Keffi personally promised him that he will
be attending the Saturdays meeting but did not come to the meeting.

COMMITTEES REPORTS / RECONSTITUTION

Engr.Ben Oseghale presented a paper to the house titled A comparative analysis of Ben
the adaptation of the tricycle as alternative mode of commercial transport in major E.O
TECHNICAL PAPER OR DISCOURSE
There will be Technical Paper presentation on Work place safety by Mr Musa Akpa.

NEWS LETTER
Materials and Informations from Engr. Zamani Ishaya and Mr Emmanuel Ojo has
been put together and just awaiting for Chairman to comment in his column before
final editing for the September to date publications.
ACCOUNT AND DUES
AutoEI monthly dues has been reviewed downward to N100.00 from the N200.00
with effect from January 2016.
Account Balance to date is N115,453.02 as at 12 th February, 2016. The Financial
Secretary is to update members on their status of payment by text messages after
reconciling members account with Chairman and report from Baba Mai Wudiri.
Engr Ben Oseghale is to introduce the new signatories to the bank for proper change
of signature.
NEW MATTERS
Public lecture is to take place on 14 th May 2016 by 11 am after normal general
meeting. Engr. J O David FAutoEI is to present a paper and letter of reminder has been
send to him.
ANY OTHER BUSINESS (A.O.B)
Engr. Ifeanyi Nwogbo is to meet with Oga Driver and discuss possible way to
promote AutoEI in its programs.
The Demise of Agwatyap Engr. Dr. Harrison Y Bungon FNSE, from Kaduna Branch of
NSE on 7th April 2016 was announced by IPC. May his Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

CLOSING
Engr. Ifeanyi Nwogbo moved for the adjournment of the meeting and seconded by
Mr Musa Akpa. Engr. Oladimeji Taiwo said the closing prayer at 6:07pm. Next
meeting will be 12th May 2016.
