MLA Format, Reflection, and Typing Reminders

1. Read Mrs. Barkers comments and fix any errors


2. Check your writing goal (on the back of your rubric.) If you did
not complete it, do it now.
3. Do a final check of no excuses
4. Make sure your paper is double spaced
5. Font is 12 pt. (except for title)
6. MLA heading: (upper right corner - do not insert it as a header)

4. Make sure that you have at least one sentence pattern
highlighted
in each paragraph.
5. You should have at least four pieces of authors craft
underlined
(dialogue and sentence patterns do not count for this)
6. Complete your reflection using your rubric as a guide. Your
reflection should be on the same page as your paper -if there
is
room Title it Reflection.
Write at least one paragraph. Choose three pieces of authors
craft. Do the following for each:
a. name the type of authors craft and give an example
b. tell why you used it and HOW it made your paper
better
You will be graded on no excuses in your reflection!
7. When you are finished with all of the above, get the okay
from your teacher to print. Print to room 230.
8. After printing, staple your paper - only if more than one page.

Turn you rubric in with your paper. Make sure your name is
it. Do NOT staple it to your paper.
9. RELAX and read quietly :)
