I have had the pleasure of knowing Ms. Guadalupe Aleman over the last 2 years. During this time, I have observed Guadalupe to be a hard working, responsible person who is very passionate about learning. Academically, she consistently completed all assigned work and routinely did well on assessments. She was also very active participant in collaborative assignments and group discussions. Currently, Guadalupe maintains a grade point average of 3.51 and has plans to attend a CSU where she will pursue a career in Information Technology. Outside the classroom, Guadalupe keeps busy with work, athletics and clubs. She has worked at the Madera Speedway Cafe over the summer. She is a member of both track and cross country teams at El Capitan high school. Guadalupe also belongs to such clubs as the Book club and Youth I Can. She is also the historian for Merced City Youth Council for the last 4 years. Guadalupe also has a passion to help others. She currently has almost 25 hours of volunteer time. She has volunteered at such events as the 2015 Undivided Youth Festival and the 2016 Earth day Festival. She also helped out at Applegate park zoo in such events as the 2015 Lights Before Christmas and 2016 Easter event as well. On more personal level, I have found Guadalupe to be a kind and respectful person with a heart to help others. It is because of these characteristics that I have no reservation in recommending Ms. Guadalupe Aleman to any program she applies for. She will be a strong asset to any group, organization or institute she is associated with.
