Dear Staff,

On behalf of WCMS PBIS Committee, we would like to kick off our PBIS initiatives beginning
Monday, October 3, 2016. Some PBIS items have been placed in your boxes to get you started.
Students can receive H.E.A.R.T. Cards for a Positive Office Referral if they show the positive
character traits learned each month. The following are the character traits for Warren County
Middle School: October: Respect, November: Cooperation, December: Caring, January:
Honesty, February: Fairness, March: Perseverance, April: Citizenship, and May:
Accountability.
Positive WARRIOR HEART boxes will be located in the Media Center for Warrior HEART
Cards. Students who have earned a WARRIOR HEART may stop by and drop them in the box
while passing by the media center.
The PBIS committee is providing you with your first few copies of the Warrior Hearts (please be
sure to cut into individual cards). You will be responsible for making all additional copies moving
forward. Teachers can use their discretion as to how many they would like to give out and to
whom. There is no limit as to how many a student can receive.
We look forward to you reinforcing students positive behavior by rewarding them with Warrior
Hearts.
