I am writing to recommend Natalie Velez-Cotto for a teaching position within the Springfield
Public School System. I have worked with Natalie over the past 2 years, she started out her
teaching aide position in my classroom and from day one she has always been willing to go the
extra mile for the students.
She is a hard-worker who is willing to take on new challenges every day to impart instructions
and create an exciting classroom environment. Her instructional methods are quite modern
and she is very tech savvy. She has brought organization and technical support to my
classroom when they implemented the use of Smartboards to all rooms.
What I found to be Natalies best assets is her ability to utilize appropriate language and
positive attitude to interact effectively with students, coworkers, and staff. As a model of
good behavior, she is in a league of her own and can provide extra instructional support based
on individual student assessments.
I am confident that Natalie will contribute greatly to the Springfield Public School system.
