Candle, candle burning bright, shining in the cold winter night, fill

Kindergarten News:
Religion-Our concentration this month is on Advent and
preparing for the birth of Jesus by practicing kindness to all.
Reading We will begin the month with our Unit 2 assessment,
and then concentrate on:
Lesson 11- Weather changes, our target skill will be
comparing and contrasting.
Lesson 12- What animals do when the weather changes, our skill
will be drawing conclusions.
Lesson 13- More animals, with an understanding of the author's
purpose as our skill.
The letters this month are short A, N, and F.
High Frequency words are; come, me, with, my, you, what.

Math We will cover Topic Five Numbers to 20, and Topic Six
Numbers to 100 including patterns on a hundred chart.
Science. Social Studies- We will discover the Christmas
traditions of children in other countries this month. We will locate
the countries on a world map, discuss climate, and perhaps
sample some tasty treats!
