To conclude this Unit on empathy and Harper Lees To Kill A Mockingbird, you will be writing a
short narrative from the perspective of one of the character in the novel.

Requirements for this narrative:


Must be two to four pages long (12 Point- Times New Roman font with one inch margins)
Must display attention to the narrative elements that we discussed in class (setting, point of view,
plot, characters, symbolism, ect.)
Must present an informed perspective (a perspective based off of your reading) of a character
from To Kill A Mockingbird
Must depict a scenario that is not already depicted in the novel
i.e. Atticus Finchs first day of high school
Utilize your work from the Step Inside activity we did in class
